I think the fact they have recruited some big names will help, whether they decide to go it alone, or if negotiating the sale of the business to a large pharma.

All of the mega pharma companies (and there are many) are making many billions of clear profit every year. £5-10bn for a working drug is a genuine pittance to them. If SNG does ‘blow the bloody doors off’ with its P3 data, I would imagine RM’s phone would be ringing off the hook.

Brighty, those numbers don’t look right. Most of those pharma’s have much bigger market caps?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a TR1 land this week. Or that a new II has done a fly by on SNG, but that IMO and not a rumour ;)

CityTTrader, where are you hearing or reading these rumours? I’m not buying it.

Just been having a proper catch up on today’s posts and see that a few members have mentioned Maverick Capital taking a stake in SNG… is this just a rumour or more? If a rumour, where has it come from and is it credible?

I don’t think that will have been worked throughout the day. I reckon the VWAP would be a bit lower than 198.9p.

Some big buys today though. Still all irrelevant if P3 results are no good. But nice to see the price moving up more towards where I personally think it should be!

I was wearing a mask the other day on the tube and could still smell this lads BO who was 6ft away from me. I’m not convinced masks work but if someone is coughing and hacking away, I suppose I’d probably still rather wear one than not.

What I don’t like is the constant lies from the government. One jab, two jab and that’s it, actually booster jab, no vaccine passports, ah, vaccines passports… I don’t trust a word said now. I’m sure they’ll more lockdowns, more jabs, compulsory jabs, vaccine passports and more. I’ve said if before, but to me this is a dangerous path we are going down. Why would they now stop just at Covid when they know that people will do all this? It’ll be entire medical records having to be shown next.

Chances must surely be increasing that SNG will be pushed along, or maybe even some kind of pre conditional order so that they are ready to go, IF the numbers are indeed good?

For those naive members on here who don’t believe market makers play games on a stock and manipulate prices, at one point today there was a near 8p bid/offer spread. That is quite frankly a disgrace for a stock that had plenty of volume going through.

Hopefully us LTH’s are now not subject to this and positioned where we want to be, and can hopefully reap the rewards.

If you own 50,000 shares, which I'm sure a few do on here - I'll keep my own holding to me for now ;) - then you own 0.025% of the company. It doesn't sound much, but if everyone wanted to hold a similar amount then only another 4,000 or so investors could do so. Except that in reality lots of shares are held by II's and LTH's who won't sell the shares before the price really pops, and pops big. You'd guess that maybe 20-30% of the shares in issue might get traded(?), which isn't much at all, and so you can see why the SP could rocket with such a relatively small amount of "free float" shares knocking around and presumably thousands of investors worldwide wanting to get in one a piece of the action.

DonnieDark01 to be fair, I do agree with you that real inflation is higher than what the latest figures suggest (CPI: 4.2% RPI: 6.0%).

Let’s hope it all settles down once supply chain issues are sorted, because high inflation is no good for anyone… except an indebted government who wants to inflate away their debt ;)
