As mentioned earlier, if P3 is successful then SNG goes far north of £2. It might be that the Pfizer pill means it’s only £15 instead of £20 now, but still a fantastic opportunity that is still quite a binary bet.

I desperately wanted to buy more at 165p, but have to accept that I already have plenty, and more in a single stock than I ever usually have.

Obviously not good news, however, if P3 successful, the price of SNG should still be comfortably north of £2!

Important day tomorrow for QBT. If this doesn’t stabilise tomorrow then the ar5e could well and truly fall out of it.
Took a very small position as a punt but am less than hopeful of seeing any kind of positive return.

If there are so many investors waiting to get in because they believe so much in QBT, then why aren’t they buying? There’s clearly plenty of sellers and what’s the point of risking trying to get every last 0.1p of the buy price if this is going many times higher?

Investors in QBT (but their stocks in general) need to stop getting so angry when someone dares say a bad word against a company.

FWIW I have a small holding in QBT (1-2% of my overall portfolio). It's a complete punt but I have nothing else like it, so it's a bit of diversification and fun. It's certainly not a stock for widows and orphans.

In addition, the MM is allowed to go out to existing shareholders and say they have a large buyer at a certain level. I’ll often get emails to this effect.

II’s only buying in round numbers is complete nonsense. They’ll have a relationship with a MM and they’ll be managing it as an ‘iceberg’ order, mopping up any shares that are being sold at a particular limit set by Polygon. They’ll be all kinds of odd numbers as they work the order throughout the day. They can then report it as one trade.

Kevin, you have completely misunderstood MassiveRay’s post. Tiger16 was bleating on about QBT and how he’s always right. MR called him out and said that Tiger had been saying SNG was a pile of crap. Therefore don’t listen to his predictions.

MR is positive on SNG.

Tiger16, I don’t think 5p, or even 4p, is happening today.

And how has MR been wrong on SNG? Things are going great there.

Bloomberg HDS screen lists 131 different "holders".

Smallest is "JP Morgan Securities" with 3845 shares.

Largest Hargreaves Lansdown at 36,848,441 shares / 18.30%

Of course, many are nominee accounts, including HL. The real largest or beneficial owner of stock is Polygon.

We may not have seen eye to eye today on QBT, but I think the really big move in SNG will likely come in a few weeks, maybe months for the P3 readout. So you should be able to get back in before then at hopefully not too far north of where you sold today.

I do get the impression that many SNG shareholders are now longer term holders, not willing to give up their shares so cheaply. Especially being so close to the big news dropping.

Only one person bothered to post some links re quantum computers (thanks to @cruckie1). Some more reading up on them, it seems only the likes of Google, and ironically today, the Chinese coming out saying they've managed to develop one. They are on an ever so slightly bigger scale to QBT, but who knows, maybe they have shown the rest of the world the way forward.

Tiger16 is another one... joking about will someone please put my mind at rest. If he had any real clue about what QBT is, he would've perhaps tried to answer the questions!

I'm sure just during my writing this that we've had another few baseless 10p claims by tomorrow :)
