Found it a very uninspiring session. Not the best adjudicator. Maybe I’m just being grumpy on a Monday!

There’s been about half a dozen or so questions now where the moderator has said for anyone to answer and a decent pause from everyone. RM maybe being a bit too polite here.

Matml74, as I said, I know the chances are likely higher than 50%, but for the sake of me not getting too excited and for keeping my feet on the ground, I am telling myself 50%!

However, I do get completely baffled if it is 70% chance of success, why is the share price not considerably north of £2?!

Nothing ever certain, though. So I try to take emotion out of my investments and look at the cold, hard numbers. Unfortunately (or not, I hope), I have probably let some emotion enter my thought process when investing in Synairgen! I rather like the story, the people, the potential…

I said a few weeks back that I consider the odds of success are 50/50. Yes, I know phase 3 success rate is higher, but I just ain’t that person who picks a 10x bagger of a stock so I am trying to keep my feet on the ground!

Anyway, even at 50% you only have to double your money for it to represent a great risk/reward bet. I think most would agree that if phase 3 is successful, this is going to more than £3 or £4 per share.

NDN71, well said (both on Sakura and those (on placebo) effectively giving their lives to help hopefully prove SNG works.

I actually felt more relaxed about last weeks 20% fall than I did today’s 8% fall.
At least with last week there was a reason for it. Today there seems no reason, so then I start thinking is there some dodgy insider dealing going… does someone know something we don’t?!

As confident as I am, Synairgen is giving me a lot of grey hairs!

Andybe4, are you suggesting that perhaps someone has now seen the data (or at least some of it) and it doesn’t look good?

178p makes no sense to me. I have cash burning a hole in my portfolio, but I can’t put anymore into SNG. I’ve already breached my self imposed limit for one stock.

Have to agree with JW2020, I’m staggered the price is down at 185p. All hurdles now out of the way and on the home straight. This is now a binary bet with significant potential upside. It ultimately does not matter for us LTH’s, but I still find it odd to be trading at these levels.

I’ve been busy most of today but good news SNG has last patient dosed. Was expected so nothing too major. For the short term/day traders, last weeks drop to 160p was about as obvious an opportunity as it gets at this level.

Quick word on Sakura7… I tend to defend those who come on here with an opinion maybe different to the bulk of us. But deary me, it was definitely a poor de-ramp attempt.

Finally watched the Stifel video.

RM IMO the best talker out of them all. Cameron Durrant a little annoying and likes the sound of his own voice. Sander looked a bit disinterested and Torsten came across well.

We also learnt that RM drinks from a watering can!

In summary, nothing groundbreaking learnt but always nice to watch something new and RM looking very at ease.

SP doesn’t matter for long term holders. But it still makes you feel that tiny bit better, especially so after the steep sell off on Friday!

I agree Fruits, and £5 (£1bn) would be laughed out of the room. But I'd still be surprised if SNG aren't being monitored by the big boys.

$25 BILLION (£18.5bn) added to Pfizer's value today, equivalent to about £90 per share on SNG.

I'm not saying that will happen, but it shows the potential for SNG when you consider that our offering could help with COPD, Asthma and more etc etc.

I'm actually surprised one of the big pharma's haven't tried to take SNG out at £5 or so, just to take us out of the equation. It's a pittance to them and there aren't many drugs as potentially effective due to read out very soon.
