15% inflation… Where are you getting that from?!

Decent volume going through here but the market makers have a 7.7p bid/offer spread… robbing ba5tards! That is just scandalous.

I was saying earlier this week that anything could happen at any time, so a dangerous stock to be out of. Who knows for sure, but perhaps that is the end of the 170’s, until P3 readout at least.

As for anything that can happen, rules have been bent and changed dramatically already for Covid-19. They can be bent again, I’m sure. I would not be surprised to hear some big news on SNG before January if this latest wave takes a serious hold.

MassiveRay, I really hope that is the case! And if it does take off, I have plenty of shares to take advantage of it.

Hi Elsol, it’s all about risk/reward for me.

Currently I have a big holding in SNG, more than I typically have in a single stock and as much as I’m prepared to put in for what I personally consider a 50/50 chance… yes, I appreciate P3 success rate is higher, this is just me trying to keep my feet on the ground and sensible.

If P3 success comes in, I see SNG be as close to fully de risked as you can get and the price should be wayyyy north of £2.50. But if the market takes a little while to cotton on, then I’ll be upping my large holding to a monster holding!

That’s my point Woodstock1970. If it doesn’t and cripples up to some nonsense low price, I’ll be firing in for a big top up!

I would say that Polygon or more or less done with acquiring any further shares. Who knows, if we have positive P3 outcome and the share price struggles up to £2.50, they might pile in for some more then.

You’re probably right about the 35 days and investors going elsewhere until nearer P3 readout. But I’d be a nervous wreck if I sold out now! Things have a habit of happening when you least expect them and there’s still potential you’d end up buying 20-30%+ higher than what you sold at now.

Situation undoubtedly worsening. You would think this should do SNG’s chances no harm but the world doesn’t make sense to me most of time and I still wouldn’t be surprised to see us get decent results and still not be approved/used.

It does seem that the market has decided c.170p is the price SNG is to be at pre P3 readout.

It's also very calm and quiet. In my experience, this is the time to be on maximum alert. I'm sure they'll be some market moving news out before P3 decision...

I don’t think someone posing a question on takeovers or licensing is automatically a trader. I’m not, but I sometimes want to test my own logic and that I’ve got it right, or even just some reassurance occasionally that I’ve made a good investment choice!

I think it was Matml74 just a day or so ago, who posted something really useful and with all the positives for SNG.

For me, a big positive has been the speed, and quality, of recruitment. More so even than Polygon snapping shares up.

Would I put my house on it? No. I still have a fraction of my overall wealth invested in SNG and am fully aware this could still fail. In fact, I would say I am more wary than most on here, assigning just a 50% chance of success.

No one knows what the future holds for any company, even one that has generated consistent profits for many years. It is always about risk and reward.

If £17 is the potential price on successful P3 and orders, this would suggest the market thinks SNG has around a 10% chance of success. It just seems mispriced, doesn’t in?

Regardless, it’s good news for those of us who are LTH’s and still topping up.

Ndn71, I think Patagucci understands that. It’s more the point that the share price would likely go many times higher than the current 175p on a successful P3 (certainly more than double). So even a 50% chance of a positive outcome is not priced in. IMO.

I think mandating compulsory vaccines is treading a very dangerous path. The thin end of the wedge, comes to mind.

US order for “10 million courses of Pfizer’s experimental pill” at $500 a go… shows the potential for SNG.

A $5bn order could get the SNG share price shifting :)

Ndn71, I still struggle to understand how the market has decided 170-180 is the current risk/return price.

I’ve said a few times that (for my own calculations) I consider SNG as now having a 50% chance of success. I have gone much lower than most, but even at a measly 50% chance of success, that would indicate a successful P3 means the company would be worth 340-360p.

I think it would go much higher. So to me, this is an “inefficient” share price that the market has wrong, and should be higher than 175p.
