A counter bid is not out of the question. I'm happy with the Perseus deal but if an Endeavour Mining or a Nevsun Resources rock up I won't be complaining either. So still potential upside here, possibly. Meanwhile I have approx 60% profit locked in.

As I said last night I think the correction here is finished. There is now strong support at this level. Technically it is spot on. Next leg up coming in the next two months which will be given fresh impetus by next months quarterly operational update plus strong gold price.

If we're tracking the Perseus SP now we should open up .75p

Kolar is fundamentally undervalued. The company has ZERO debt. They have about £750k cash but cash burn is now v low so they should have enough to get them through to end 2016/beginning 2017. It is true they WILL have to fund raise at some point for sure BUT the real value is in the GMSI stake which is worth about 2.8p on its own and before the upgraded resource comes through from Jonnagiri. So my current pre-drilling results valuation for KGLD is 3.5p. Its little more than a quarter of book value. Anyone care to disagree? You only need to check the BS.

I think the recent SP correction here is near enough complete. The stock is no longer technically overbought with evidence as follows. RSI is down to 42 now. The SP has pretty much hit the lower bollinger band of current trading range. Also I note the share price is now at previous resistance levels to the upside last Oct so we could be seeing real support now at this level. Which all means I believe it is time to buy or top up now at this level. We are ready for the next upleg hopefully with an extra leg up from the gold price.

So you were guessing then. Just banding around numbers as though they are fact. And don't ask me for numbers you were the one who proclaimed a number out of thin air. Do you have ANY idea how much an IBM analyst/consultant/technician or PM's time costs? Clearly not.

g-w Yes I did notice that announcement about director dealings. Apparently he used part of the sale to finance the purchase of the shares in the placing 10p cheaper!

My assumption is that a lot of people are just taking profits and deciding to get out but this is balanced by willing buyers who want to get in for the Perseus deal. So a bit of a stalemate atm but I would've thought this will gravitate slowly towards the value of the takeout which is a bit north of 12.5p, esp if you include the warrants (which you should)

Not up to speed here. Why was the drop expected? Are we looking at another fund raising? I see there was one late last year so not long since the last.

I'm not calling you a deramper but you were the one who entitled your first post this morning with 'Beware'. Is that balanced? Some people would interpret that as a warning, which is ridiculous. I think we've already agreed hedging is prudent so people are entitled to challenge you on the point you are trying to make. I could equally suggest that your post displayed a possible veiled degree of sour grapes that you haven't enjoyed the benefit of this mornings announcement (which you will, of course, deny) ;)

Indeed. Well said. Its hardly a deal breaker is it!? Lots of goldies have been hedging in the bear market. Its NOT a big deal and don't believe anyone who says it is. Its actually prudent. And IF the gold price goes up make no mistake its positive for ALL Goldies going forward regardless of CURRENT hedging positions because thats effectively history now. You'll find naturally that miners, if they believe we are going into a bull market than hedging will become less common.

Anyone notice a takeover at AMA? Be nice to see something like that here, at a decent price of course...

Worth pointing out that Gardner, Hain and particularly McGloin have been buying here from 2nd half 2014 to 1st half 2015 at between 14 and 24p! So they are well down even at this price. I just wonder if this is going to spark the interest of another predator. I'm sure the board wouldn't be unhappy about such a development.

Effective takeover of Amara. Should give me a minimum 100% gain here. :) Question now is will there be a counter bid? This is still v cheap even at the offer price. Certainly going to attract attention.
