Playing in here. I'm seeing trades where people are losing hundreds of pounds by buying on a spike yesterday and selling out at a substantial loss already. Look at the latest trade as an example. Pitiful.

And it's creeping up 5.6p Liking the way this is moving up slowly but consequently perhaps more sustainably.

HL referred Kolar to a bid situation earlier today. Elsewhere there was a bid rumour doing the rounds 3-4p mentioned by another poster on iii (I don't know the source or its reliability). That said they are in an Offer Period and 3 to 4p would only be valuing the company at cash + assets (nothing for BGML interest)

You could say that! I have 2m here @ avg 1.39p so I was briefly up this morning. I think many thought this company was going to go under after the announcement late last year re strategic review and with the severe gold bear market. But bear markets don't go on for ever and this one has ended. Kolars potential has been re-ignited by the recent BGML news alongside the potential re-rating Jonnagiri upgrade which, incidentally, will get more attention now from investors as this is back on the radar of many. The rising gold price has increased my confidence of long term success here. Are you still in?

If you are a chart watcher 1.2p is exactly a 61.2% intraday retrace from high of 1.7p. SO we should have support here. Hopefully!

Yep we need to see beyond the current difficult environment for gold explorers. As the gold price rises with demand so more gold will be required to meet future demand. Global Gold production production peaked last year 2015 and is forecast to decline in future years. If you align this to the fewest discoveries global last year for 20 years it is clear that supply is not going to meet demand in future unless substantial investment is made in exploration. This will happen naturally as a course of the coming bull market cycle. The price will rise as demand exceeds supply and as the price rises so more and more investment will enter the industry. NOTHING can now alter this process. It is set in stone.

Back now. Just been to have my eyes tested (seriously) which, frankly, I needed because seeing the SP hit 1.7p earlier I couldn't believe my eyes! Kolar have issued the obligatory RNS which typically keeping their cards close to their chests and conservative in nature. Its one of the things I particularly like about this company. There is no hyperbole by management. No ramping their SP. Just playing it with a straight bat. Well done Kolar. Now, where do we go from here. A few traders have exited but we are STILL way up on the day. Which means there IS something real going on behind the scenes. This is no P&D.

The SP responding to small buys as it does equally to sales…… Look for the trend though, on every bounce is it a lower high or a higher high? I think the trend is clear ATM. As Falling says and I agree, excellent posts by Apps and Adastra who put forward an entirely plausible bull case.

Yes ok your strategy seems entirely logical to me. I am prepared to wait for the junior explorers to receive the benefit of the new Gold bull market. I do also have producers though. Indeed I now see gold stocks as a defensive play in what I believe is a bear in the main market (we're just seeing a bear market rally recently)

Very good news indeed. But this is still off the radar of many but there remains a massive opportunity. With a miniscule MC and the potential that both BGML and the GMSI stake offers its a relative no brainer as we enter a major new Gold bull market. It is no exaggeration to say that in such an environment this could experience huge gains in the next couple of years that will make those brave and canny enough a LOT of money.
