I knew it, the minute I spoke of the bid holding they've taken it down but looks like a tree shake to me. Drop the bid sharply but Ask holds at same price. That could still be an attempt to fill an order by shaking some stops or weak holders.

We've already seen with only a small amount of demand how quickly this moves. The issue at the moment could be one of order filling because the MM's can fill the small orders which we see but its clear that the larger orders not so easy because the bid price is holding up (having said that it'll probably drop now) Looking at the chart if we can break 1.7p its blue sky to 2p at least.

Now up to 5.89p for full dummy holding sell. A brilliant week here and looking forward to next week and the results. Should see STL hit new highs. Happy days.

Addy - to set the record straight when I forecast a fundraising I was specific it would happen during the March-May period. We're only just into it. ;) The timing of the cash call was based around when I estimate they run out of cash. IF they get through these next 2 1/2 months with no cash call I will start to re-consider whether it is worth getting back in. It would also be good to hear of the odd more significant contract rather than the small ones currently in place. My decision to sell last November has been thoroughly vindicated as the stock has fallen by more than 50% since that period.

How do you know results are next Thursday. They haven't given any notice of results.

Not ONE single placing here since the company was floated years ago. Run sensibly and conservatively keeping costs to a minimum. Keep in mind this company is worth a minimum of 4p and likely more once we receive what I expect to be a substantial JORC resource upgrade at Jonnagiri. NAV per share 4p on the BS and shareholder funds £4.24m against current MC £1.68m - clear undervaluation and company has ZERO debt.

I think this is a bit illiquid because a small number of buys and this is moving nicely. I'm in profit already after a couple of hours. Keep in mind this is valued at roughly a QUARTER of book value according to latest BS. Very very undervalued.

This is a bit perplexing. According to the relative valuations of Perseus shares and Amara this should be about 14p now so it's clearly discounted against the takeover offer. ??

MM's still trying to underplay this. I can dummy sell a decent size for 1.66 well above quoted bid. Won't take much to tick this up again will it.

Picked up 240k odd this morning. This is now ridiculously cheap. I know there is a bit of uncertainty over the outcome of the HC study but I cannot see the social and economic advantages of the project being turned down. It's just too important to the local community. This is trading on a crazy 1/5th of its book value and, assuming the outcome of the HC study will be net favourable that is going to be corrected dramatically! NAV per share 5.68p

A number of sells going through but all being happily soaked up with no drop in price. So we must have a background buyer.

Actual Bid @ 1.57 above quoted. About to move up again?

Perseus SP up 8.2% overnight so I would expect that to be fully reflected here today.

Much much further to go. Current valuation as per the BS = 4p Indeed, if we are now in a Gold Bull and I am sure we are there could be fortunes made out of this stock in the next, say, 2 years - no exaggeration whatsoever

6p pre results target I set broken! Delighted. Looking very very positive.

Someone paid 1.85 for 269,948 shares this morning. That will be our direction of travel.
