Despite a £21.69k sell and a few others Last week I can still sell in quantity @ 12.05p this morning. Another order being filled? Can’t help feeling this is a fantastic chance to get in and/or top up here.

We know that Morgan Ashley is pushing forward and F1 Modular seems to be doing very well now - and turning a profit this financial year.

If you look at EPS, PE, whatever metric you use this looks cheap..

...there's anymore bad news to tumble out the cupboard I reckon (from the chart) that the SP is bottoming out. The new CEO will've got all the bad stuff out early doors. Next Thursdays report should be interesting. I Expect to see some signs they are getting on top of things.

Which is reflected in the hesitance of the SP to move forwards. At the moment we probably need improved market sentiment with the resulting confidence to push this up. All the other positive ingredients are in place.

Yes I most certainly do too. Interesting that despite mainly red, sells, the bid is actually creeping up. That may mean that a (buy) order(s) are being filled in the background. Whatever, I see a bright future here and the long term chart IS in an uptrend.

dasbig - illiquidity ie.a lack of supply to the market. Which, on the one hand is good because holders aren’t selling but on the other hand we need some selling to get the supply to satisfy the buyers to move the price!

The thing is MdV has been buying blocks of AAU stock for a LONG time now. And fair play to him for that.

BUT its got to the stage where I wonder what his motive actually is. Is it because he really believes the story here or is it because he's trying to boost, or even dare I say it, prop up the SP?

Turkey is increasingly not a good place to be. The government is becoming more dictatorial and the economy in a bad bad way. This is not a good backdrop for investors to feel comfortable investing. And it doesn't look likely to improve.

Maybe that is why the AAU SP continually struggles despite positive progress by the company? Maybe MdV is doing his bit to show his confidence but sadly I dont think its enough in this market.

When I suggested a couple of weeks ago (and the SP was inexplicably falling against a positive backdrop) that a placing was coming it was dismissed by posters on here - the usual defensive reaction. And now, this morning, I see that every kind of positive spin is being put forward to justify the cash call by people who denied it was going to happen!

As for it being a ‘tiny discount’ hmmmm. The SP was trading at over 12p less than a month ago so 8.5p is more than a 25% discount! Definitely not ‘tiny’.

Look I’m not saying this company hasn’t got - potentially- a bright future but why is it that holders find it so hard to be even remotely objective about their investment. As if their staunch defence and denial of anything that doesn’t seem positive is going to make the slightest difference to the SP! Never ceases to amaze and amuse.

I suppose question now is is this another false dawn leading to another fall back in SP? Or is this actually the start of a new SP rally? I guess we will know the answer soon enough, probably within the next day or so as AGL is soon sold off normally.

Bothered to look at directors emoluments buried deep towards the rear end of the results. No doubt hoping you’d all be too bored to read anymore by that stage. My oh my the snouts have been busy in the trough haven’t they?!

Anyone think that £160k salary and £90k plus bonus seems just a little excessive for a company that still has absolutely NO proved up resources or reserves? Oh and on top of all that I wouldn’t look at all those additional consultancy fees paid by Greatland to their directors companies?!

One word : disgraceful

That the current SP is little more than 10% of its value when the huge placing of 2015 was completed at 5p a Share. The subsequent consolidation means that placing was done at the equivalent of £5!

Current cash position must be around £30m and with MC of £19.5m the company continues to be valued at considerably less than cash. Goes to show how little faith, or perhaps understanding the market has on Rene.
Woodford has taken some huge losses here.

£44k delayed buy. Lets hope we've got a buyer here now.

seeingtom - ah yes I recall this issue you’ve jogged my memory. Oh cripes I’d put this to bed in my mind long ago and share your view. Many thanks for your time in responding.

hicory - could you expand a little on the AN house purchase please? What exactly do you know as fact?

We can be very sure of is that all is not as it should be at 7DIG. They forecast £8m extra revenue for 2018 when they made the big acquisition last year. Half year 2018 results delivered an extra £3.2m (as against equiv period 2017) so way short plus, if you assume its all additional sales from the acquisition that means organically it hasnt grown at all. And if it isn't all from the acquisition that means its even worse performance from the previous forecast.

But an even bigger issue is the inability of the company to integrate the new business. They haven't delivered cost savings, these keep being pushed forward into the future. They have continually talked about becoming profitable and its still not even close. No wonder investors have lost their nerve and are throwing in the towel. You can only make so many broken promises Mr Cole.
