Called a recession proof stock then this has surely got to be it. Whatever the economic conditions what do you do to feel better, listen to music. People will always listen to music.

The company does make a lot of its earnings in dollars though so is to some extent dependant on dollar strength.

So far at least we have been spared in todays bloodbath.

Its just my view having followed this company for years, there's a placing coming, and I'll be more specific, within the next month certainly.

And interesting views. Short term though they look short of cash to me and I remain convinced a placing is coming shortly.

Toad - this may sound cynical (which it is) but FLX have been disappointing investors with overpromising and under delivering for years - not just the last year. One issue is that their costs rise almost as fast as their revenues and I have long felt there are 'too many cooks' being paid too much money without producing a shred of value for shareholders.

Down 3.77% today 12.75p. Is it just me or is this one of those absurd market anomalies in terms of undervaluation??

Very underwhelming and frustrating lack of information on CD4 re the WHO progress.

Is it? Starting with production, yes it is an improvement thats true. BUT the two things that then feed down to the bottom line are sales and price. Both are down so that does not bode well for the overall financial results.

On the latest placing price. They got 4.5 away for the last one. No chance of that now. I reckon 2p.

I've just been running a quick check over the financials and I expect another placing very soon. IMO that's what the SP is now signalling. They only had £0.9m cash at end of the financial year (31.3) and they were still burning cash at over £100k pm at the end of last year so its a given I reckon.

A tragedy for loyal shareholders who thought they were investing in a potential british success story. The first mine built in over 40 years and in an area of the country which badly needs the jobs. It all looked very promising and I also invested at one point (and I live in Devon so feel a strong empathy).

As ever with a failing company it all comes down to bad management. There will be other factors but, with good management, they can often be mitigated or surmounted. So I am sorry to see this happening and hope that there is some way out for shareholders in terms of a successful turn around though it seems unlikely.

Since I posted last Thursday further recovery has been seen and the longer term downtrend looks to have been broken. On that basis I’ve added ‘the trend is your friend’.

Surely there will be no surprises - nice or nasty - in the results as they've already issued specific numbers in the June trading update?

Say it quietly and no one will hear. I think theres a placing coming (hence the disappointing SP reaction since EPL news)

Interesting chat with Gary Cook, thanks for sharing. A steady flow of buys to start the day. GFIN is and has been a slow burner. This could be the catalyst for a new uptrend though as the news is huge for the companies growth prospects. EPL is one of the best known sports products across the world.

So what now? Well, given that the Premier League is such a massive global product - both more sponsorship and advertising revenue will surely flow from this deal. Expecting a decent bump in the SP following this major development for GFIN.

Pretty significant deal if you ask me...

I'm looking at the technicals and are we seeing the completion of a head and shoulders pattern showing up quite clearly on the 6mth chart - that would be bullish. This also looks oversold according to RSI but moving averages indicate still clearly in downtrend. So, with my amateur understanding of technicals its a bit of a mixed signal.

ASH is a very off the radar stock and probably would be seen by some as boring. But often 'boring' stocks are the ones that really deliver. Speaking of delivering in the y/e 30.4.18 the company reported EPS of 2.93p. This puts the company on a historical PE of 4.5 (13.25/2.93)

I havent got a brokers forecast for 2019 but given this is a growth company in a transformational phase due to the lifting of the LHA Cap it seems to me this is very cheap and the market has not cottoned on fully to how cheap it is.

Their 50% JV with Morgan Sindell enables ASH to now fully execute on their £200m pipeline.

Furthermore the company have also gone on record to say that its 76% owned subsidiary F1 Modular will contribute to profits this year for the first time (having been previously loss making).

If we don't get a rerating this side of Christmas I am pretty sure it will come by the time of the interim results announcement in January. I reckon it could hit 20p+ by end Jan 2019 giving more than a 50% return on the current SP.

For holders this is a firm HOLD and I will be looking to add more as and when I am able to.

When talk of take overs is being banded around its worth remembering that Life Technologies Limited which was acquired by TF in 2014 hold 95,688,706 warrants here exercisable above, around and below the current SP. Thats approx 25% of the current share capital.

Is spending money, lots of it, shareholders money with NO value accretion.
