Eve looking more secure than a lot of other companies now. If only Link etc. could see it that way too.

A couple of weeks ago and after the notable increase of reviews – and Compound I's look at Simba, Casper and Leesa too – I dropped a line to the Comms guy at Eve, hoping that the reviews news might possibly get to back Link etc.
It doesn't seem to have made an obvious difference with the selling but it's hard to tell.
Anyway, this is part of the reply that came back. He mentions Eve making 'good progress'... further progress'.

Re Link and the other two large investors who have been selling we are still going through the fallout of the Woodford debacle I am afraid. Link and the other two inherited his holding - it was not their choice - they were allocated the money. What this means is that there is currently a disconnect between the share price performance and that of the company, which is showing good progress against its rebuild strategy. You are probably aware we have results on 24 March, which will be our next opportunity to show further progress.
Please rest assured we are working hard to sort out the current shareholder issue.

Average: just over 4p, but then there've been quite a few fees too. That's just to break-even. I know there are many who are down a lot more than me. I'd much prefer to see this a successful trading company than go private, and not many successful trading companies have shares at 4p. So I live in hope of much better – in long term of course

I hope directors will 'buy, buy, buy' after results day but pray it doesn't go private at less than my average.

I'd have to ask Emma, or perhaps Retail Gazette (maybe Retail Gazette checked before publishing?) though it was noted that a figure was absent in the article. However, I'm guessing that Emma are a private company and don't have to publish figures publicly or tell me. Really not sure though.
However, you must have access to better info as you claimed on Friday that they are loss making. Would you tell me what the loss is at Emma? You must know and I'd be interested.

Ok, I just spent a while counting TP reviews of Eve and Emma, SINCE 1/1/20. Eve have 24.5 pages (20 per page) and Emma have 53 pages of TP reviews. So Eve is seemingly catching up compared to a year ago: Eve have 46% the number of reviews compared to Emma.
Now, and this is only 3 hours ago apparently, and I only found it because of this Trustpilot thread – an article on Emma's fortunes. (It doesn't mention amount of profit, only sales increase and 'second year of profitability' )

I try to avoid specific predictions, because I certainly don't know.. But I can see all outcomes here, including surprisingly rapid rise in SP. People don't buy if they think something'll be cheaper tomorrow. So the price currently is artificially low with all the dumping. If sales' results look good and if people start to see higher future SP they could easily over-compensate from here with this fairly illiquid stock. Hope that isn't too Rampery.
Another stock I hold had the headline 'Profits Surge' yesterday, and yet SP fell, and fell again today. Even that could happen at Eve in March, though maybe 'profits surge' would be overstepping the mark; I'd settle for 'sales exceed expectations'..

A year ago and somewhat more recently, for extended periods, TP received fewer than 3 reviews a day on Eve products. Emma used to receive infinitely more and people said Emma was doing well. You might have missed these observations. Now, Eve is getting many, many more reviews each day. That, combined with recent guidance from Eve makes people – me for one – consider the possibility that Eve products are selling better than they used to do. That link doesn't seem too outrageous to me though I admit it could still be misplaced; if I were absolutely convinced I'd remortgage the house and buy 1,000,000s of Eve shares at 1.22p right now.
Even if I'm wrong I believe 'pure speculation' is stock-in-trade on this BB ;-)

Buyer(s) doesn't seem to be in any kind of hurry, which is fine. Personally I'd prefer a sustained gentle rise (difficult with the virus) rather than a spike around results day when you have 20 minutes to decide whether it's best to be in or out.

Dumping hasn't stopped but some entity appears to be taking up the slack. These last two trades look both like 'buys' to me. (They follow sells at 1.30p):

eve did say that last quarter of 2019 was a good one so it – reviews etc – all fits the picture. Just have to factor in the dumping and then the detailed figures in a month.
To paraphrase 'watch the pennies and the pounds will watch themselves' I think that if the sales are profitable then the share price should watch itself in the end, regardless of the dumping

you have to open a Truspilot account (from memory); I did long before Eve. Would take a lot of trouble to open a lot of fake accounts, and the language used in reviews seems genuine to me. Could be that Eve are pushing people more into writing reviews now I guess, but Trustpilot have always said that eve are a company that encourage reviews on TP.
