That's quite a high average Michael, and same has happened to me elsewhere but not on big sums, fortunately. I am currently in TILS and the people on the BB there are saying it's turning into a scam since a move to the Nasdaq but we shall see. I would lose a lot (for me) there.

You may well get some of your eve investment back. We don't need much of a miracle for you to get back to 45% down, and then who knows.

As for two RNSs from eve already, I guess it had to be two. Mike Lloyd couldn't have bought his 800,000 shares before the TU came out (pretty sure of that).

2020 December 3rd TU gave us the January 2021 date for there release of the full figures. Quite clever to hold it back this year as (presumably) they'll give us the date in yet-to-come RNS that'll steady the SP. I guess that'll be sometime before mid-January. Otherwise there'd be around 6 weeks without news and the SP would tend to drift down.

I appreciate your post Greend. It shows how a bulletin board can affect mood. I don't mind waiting while they sort things out with the move (the HL info on the delisting from London to Nasdaq said there'd be a period the shares couldn't be traded) even though it's gone on rather longer than expected but when everyone says it's a scam, one does rather wonder.. I won't go hungry but I do have more in here than I'd like to lose and it'd take could performances from the rest of my PF to fill the void if all my TILS went down the pan.

HL still shows the value of my TILS at 58.50p so I'll get a big drop when the new value shows up. That'll be bad enough but to lose everything would be a problem.

GC bought a chunk not that long ago (to add to his already huge holding) so I believe his interest is best served by this doing well. GLA, and I mean that.

IF they have a new Channel 4 campaign coming (@ half price) the 2022 sloth could be version 1.1 and they've retired the V1 ad.
(new ad may not even involve the sloth but when they sell toy versions for £35 I hope it does.)

Zak Mir reckoned a close above 3.0 would be good sign for higher moves up. Only 5 mins left.

Yan, I'm not suggesting any particular figure and this is an exaggeration for effect but just suppose they lost £1.00 in the penultimate TU of '22 then a profit of £3m this time next year, and optimistic projections for '23. For me that would pass the test.

It's probably one of those things we'll be talking about for a long time.

Looking back to H1, 'In the six months to 30 June, statutory pre-tax losses widened to £2.3m from £1.3m in the same period a year ago, while underlying EBITDA losses widened to £1.9m from £0.8m'

So now we have today's figures, H2 loss looks estimated to be (–)£1.2m to get to (–)£3.1m for the year 2021.

The direction seems to be clear: (–)£1.9m; (–)£1.2m etc. and presumably / hopefully accelerating towards positive territory.

Hi Yanis, I'm not so sure. Could still be middle / later 2022 though they can obviously organise things how they like if they could have chosen to show a profit some time ago.

Broker Finncap said Eve Sleep’s rebuild strategy is on-track and forecasts a rise in sales from £25.2 million to £27 million in 2021, albeit with pre-tax losses widening from £2.4 million to £3.1 million.

However, this marks a major improvement on the losses of £20.3 million and £11.1 million racked up in 2018 and 2019 respectively and the broker argued the latest update ‘provides further evidence that the three-year strategic rebuild of the group remains firmly on track. The brand expansion into bedframes is now making a material revenue contribution, and the product ranges continue to expand as the group carries on building its sleep wellness brand.’

I don't know the rules at all well but can she buy before the results?

TBH, if she buys and it looks like she's manipulating the system it might undermine what I've just said about her being straight - purely IMO. If she buys after the results in January that would be a great sign. (But with all those options, she might not bother.)

I think people judge CC in the same way that they judge other AIM CEO's so not necessarily believing her 'turnaround' is really taking place. This RNS shows it very probably is.

Yes, CC doesn't control everything but she is getting a lot of calls right and is very straight with us, which is good enough for me.

Perhaps CC released this as the sp was declining, otherwise why not last week? Having said that the RNS says that they extended the Black Friday period so that the couriers were not put under too much stress. December updates for two years does rather set a precedence now.

Inspired buying on Friday by some people who see that CC has been delivering on her assessments and we should head towards the predicted sustainable profit in 2022 as things are 'in-line with expectations'. I doubt a 3p share price (as I write) fully reflects that expected profit.

We spotted 'sleep away' range is a big hit. They are bound to push that now and to as big an audience as possible, maybe in France too. I imagine they'll want to nurture France – bridgehead to Europe and all that – but maybe not such spending there for a while, while things consolidate further in the UK.

I ordered eve pillows on Nov 26. Eve finally sent a request for me to write a TP review this evening, despite me already having written one of my own volition. Anyway, I obliged and wrote another. Perhaps they’ve delayed the review request a little this year, compared to last.

My purchase was at the start of the Black Friday weekend so I imagine we will get a few other post showing up very shortly. Their number should be a bit of a clue to how sales went.
