Yes indeed you are quite right sunnyca, though it just feels a lot more recent than that; I did buy into 4d about 5 years ago at £9 but exited in H1 2017. So yes over two years ago, indeed circa 3 years ago, apologies for the over simplification. I will be more specific the next time, for the more pedantic among you.

As I responded earlier "nothing new here", just the same old plans and strategies that have, so far, delivered nothing. I just hope that they are better able to deliver it in the long term. We have seen a procession of new appointments all with ambitious, game changing plans and new ideas but they have all eventually been worn down by the glacial pace of the Tanzanian Administration. If I am honest I do not expect much to change going forward.

To be fair the current incumbents have had little time to stamp their own mark on any of this and I would have been very surprised if they had changed much at all in so short a time period (and during COVID). After all we need them to be concentrating on the "elephant in the room" and would be criticising them if they were not doing so. Without that everything else would be a bit like like changing the furniture on the titanic.

Far more important in the short term is your health and well being. I sincerely hope your term in hospital is a successful one and look forward to your return. If you get the chance keep us posted on your progress.

The comments I "put down" are only those that are obviously designed "ramp" the share with nothing but self - interested hyperbole.... I simply respond "in kind". If only to make it "obvious" to the uninitiated that there are two games being played on this (and every other board).

Accepted BG but I repeat that nothing is cheap when you the cash reserves that AEX has.... (ZERO) they were once talking about soaking up the excess water with "foam" that was predicted to cost only $20,000 and yet even that never happened!

Consequently I would suggest that the first conditions that need to be satisfied before we make any progress on Kiliwani is "approval" of the work programme and the repayment of the outstanding invoices and until and unless that happens no-one (AEX or potential partner) will risk investing a dime in it.

the point is BG that they still need "approval" to do anything at all at KN1 and they have been awaiting that for two years.... plus they have to re-enter the well to do so, and that isn't a pittance and nor would be the 3D. Moreover as has already been stated by RA they have no income and no cash so will need a third party assitance to complete anything irrespective of the "relatively cheap" operation as you put it. Nothing is "cheap" when you have nothing.

When it comes to Kiliwani KNS should be the focus in my view. Once upon a time AEX Bod were discussing the idea of reducing the Nyuni License and creating and "new" area - incorporating Nyuni inshore with Kiliwani to create a Nyuni Appraisal area. I would like to see some progress on that.

However I would be happy right now simply to see the F/O and the Spud date and take the rest from there.

Indeed none of that KN1 response is new - we already knew about the water too, that is about two years old.

The only exception to the universal positivity is the Nyuni scenario. Is this a case of their managing expectations? Though I am sure that based on "Tanzania Time" it could be a decade before we even get to any sort of conclusive discussion there. So yes it is sensible to focus on the immediate priorities.

I thank you all for your reports, I will happily admit that they seemingly provided more than I expected. All reports seem to be unanimously positive which is great news. Though cannot help but think that I have heard all of the same platitudes many times before.

Though ultimately the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. It will be interesting to see who and how long it takes to appoint those new NED's

I have been to several AGM's and EGM's where the Board actually have a message to deliver and questions to answer and yet rarely have the Shareholders come away with any meaningful questions answered and the exceptions have been in the face to face conversations that have taken place on the "fringes" after the formal proceedings. When the whole process feels like it is being arranged by the FGB and under the COVID19 protectorate there seems little point. You cannot even see the whites of their eyes when they are fobbing off your intrusive questions... ;0)

Tiburn much as I understand why it is that you remain optimistic and continue to "bang the drum" for AAOG, I fear that no-one is listening. You really are flogging a dead horse here. Until and unless AAOG or Forum decide to release some material news this sp is going nowhere. The day that we see some significant (10's of millions) volume and value (£10k's) being traded it might signify a change of position but a few rainbow chasers looking for some speculative gains based on the possibility of a "phantom" RTO will achieve nothing I am afraid to say and your exhortations will continue to fall on deaf ears. :-(
