Yes BG accepted on the Ntorya resources- though you know my thoughts on the Farm-Out agreement and until and unless we get that Farm-Out approved the Agreement and the scale or otherwise of the underlying resources are somewhat irrelevant don't you think? The sp will never reflect the value of either until the deal is sealed and the resources successfully drilled....so don't count your chickens BG - remember NT2?

BTW that 1m trade was an "off market" transaction and so could have occurred at any time through the day and reported later. Hence the fact that it was completed at 90p is no indication of its direction.... the £74k trade is however a market trade and can reasonably be assumed to be a buy.

My comments are based on events Frank - there has only been one really "positive" event since the NT2 drill and that was a license extension that occurred months ago. If the company gave me more positive events to "focus" on and upon which to base my judgement then maybe my comments would appear more upbeat. But unlike you I concentrate on the reality and not a speculative hope or expectation based on misplaced confirmation bias....

Apologies for the question but where can we see that after hours 1m trade - I cannot see it on my usual platforms? What was the price and time of the trade? Was if "after hours" or was it a delayed trade?

I am not the one that has repeatedly criticised you for making positive posts or questioning what your motivations are for posting Frank; I just let you get on with it. It is only you that keeps asking the same old repetitive question of me. Yet despite my giving you totally open answers that most people would easily understand and accept, you evidently cannot get your head round it?

I asked you the question earlier Frank which you failed to answer: "what were you attempting to achieve" in your earlier posts? Was it your intention to "ramp" the share or was it just a statement of opinion? It would appear through your insinuations that no-one could possibly post on this BB unless it was their intention to "sell" something. So what were you selling Frank? If it was simply a statement of your opinion, why is it okay for you to do so but not for me? "But you have got millions of shares" I hear you squeal. Yes and I have told you endless bloody times that I do not believe my comments make the slightest bit of difference to the sp, even if I did that it would not change my stated opinions and moreover that I am in this for the longer term and so short term sp movements are totally inconsequential.

So why is it impossible for you to accept that maybe, just maybe, some people on this board do not have an "agenda" but just like saying what they believe...?

You still don't seem to get the point do you Frank - I am NOT in the game of "selling" anything. Unlike you and others on this and many other BB's who deliberately magnify the positives and drown out the negatives (and those that promote any negative viewpoint) in the ridiculous expectation that it will entice people into the stock and bolster their own position and bank balance. Which, by the way, is a tactic that I find both abhorrent and ridiculous in equal measure.

Thankfully because of the years of inaction that have occurred at AEX there is now little chance of this appraoch succeeding here and there are no longer more than a handful who peddle that line on this board; they have all long since been proven to be false prophets. Though I am sure that will change again once we have a spud date.

Oh and just to make another point in the faint hope that it might finally sink in; unlike you I am do not hold with the fantastic idea that anything that I say or you say will have the slightest impact on the sp. Consequently I can make any comments I like, positive or negative, openly and without fear or favour. The fact that you cannot understand that only underlines your own superficiality.

Let me explain it once again for the stupid - I make my observations as I see them, unbridled by my own interests and in the knowledge that they make not the slightest bit of difference anyway. Moreover even if they did I am holding the shares for the Farm-Out extension and the CH1 spud (and maybe longer) and therefore I do not waste time and effort wondering or worrying about the sp in the intervening period nor the impact that my comments might or might not have on it.

For most people that would be an easily understood explanation. Hopefully Frank you will now understand it too and hence cease this same hackneyed line of attack.

People are entitled to an opinion and the right to express it as they choose. Perhaps you think that if my belief or opinion is not what you and other holders want to hear, I ought simply to keep my mouth shut? What was your objective in saying "I do feel it won’t be after the elections but before and sooner rather than later"? I simply have a different view; it is more than likely that we will be waiting until after the election. No malice aforethought, no ulterior motive, no self interested manipulation - just a opinion Frank. Has the penny dropped yet?!

Perhaps you can explain to everybody what you were "attempting to achieve" with your post below? What was MAX Powers intention? And yet you agreed with him, so presumably you know what it was?

Just to simplify things for you Frank - I do believe that we will get the Farm-Out approved and I do think we will spud CH1 eventually (hence why I still hold AEX) BUT as I have been pointing out for months and in the face of many detractors (including you) the expectations of the "rose tinted spectacle" brigade on the timing of those things have been proven to be optimistic in the extreme and after reading that article yesterday to assume that we will get the F/O approval without yet another extension to the "back-stop" would be just as optimistic.

And just to reiterate in case you have missed it, I am not expecting to achieve anything by saying so except perhaps managing people's expectations by offering an alternative and rational counterpoint to the "hope over expectation" brigade.

BG, I have just re-read your post and now realise that we are talking at cross purposes. I am simply arguing that Magafuli may not sign off on the Farm-Out until after the election. Nowhere did I suggest that he won't do so once back in office.

So yes, after the election it is surely in his interests to get the Gas flowing and the economy flowing BUT surely that would also have been true at any time in the last five years bit did that influence his policy making? There is no evidence of it.

Well I would intuitively agree with you BG that is what any normal person would have done but not an autocratic despot like Magafuli; from the evidence of past performance it is obvious that Magafuli does not share your logic. If so he would not have been holding this up to within a few weeks of the election to release the "stop valve". He would have wanted to share the benefits of the Ntorya Gas on the Tanzanian economy with his people. If he wanted to "make maximum political gain" he has left it far, far too late. His tactic appears to be an "us and them" approach - he is the "protector" of his country's and its people's assets against the "corporate invaders" - and he will be relying on that for his next term in govt.

Your argument (which I understand and share) has been made here many times going back over a 12 - 18 months - but in truth the reverse has been proven.

Agreed Amtech; I have been involved with 4 O&G stocks that have resorted to Riverfort finance and only one has emerged "intact" at the end of it....

Well Trek you may be right but it would appear that as soon as we get into the low to mid 90's a seller or sellers comes out of the woodwork. Is this profit taking or more shorting? Who knows but, until it stops or we have some game changing news, it would appear that we are likely to remain stuck below 100p. Not that I am complaining; I have a healthy profit at that level and in any case I bought for the long term and the development of 4D's many projects.

I did not get the chance to read Drewky's article until last night but having done so it would be easy to conclude that we are unlikely to get the Farm-Out sign off until after the election in October! Actually that is not too far way now but even so it makes a mockery of granting the License Extension when they did and stretches the idea of a CH1 spud before the year's end beyond credibility methinks.

It could also be suggested that the PSA review of 2017 was purely a ploy to defer any and all O&G activity in the country into a second term for Magafuli. Total incompetence and counter productive.... but when an autocrat like Magafuli is more concerned with their own aggrandisement than they are with the development and advancement of their country's people and the economy nothing is rational nor surprising.

Oh and most of those were "back - to - back" trades anyway....

Maybe Jetty but 10 x bugger all is still bugger all.... and, until there is some news, bugger all is about as much we will see.
