Very true. I never thought I should have mentioned some of the posters on here who seem to have inside knowledge that this is going to fail, and even if it were to succeed, wouldn't be needed anyway!

Here is hoping it doesn't come to that. Watching the 10 o'clock news tonight makes you wonder how spectacularly wrong P3 would have to go for the treatment not to be approved.

Do we expect not to hear anything before the end of the phase 3 trial - or will people assume that in itself is a bad sign?

If the trial is going well then would we not expect to receive EUA from the NIHR or an RNS detailing an order from the government? Something like this would obviously give away the outcome of any known results.

I agree to an extent. There are some on here quick to dismiss the results of the vaccines and the nature of their comments suggests their scepticism is more about self preservation because they have an interest in the vaccines not succeeding.

However, Synairgen have released the data from their clinical trial, which has been peer reviewed and published. The vaccines have not done the same. We have been fed lines based on incomplete data sets which naturally leads to scepticism.

Most decent people on this board realise where the happy medium is though. I don't want to get £100 for a share but I can't travel and people across the world are dying of Covid. I want to make money on this share but I can do that and Synairgen be part of a wider plan to beat this virus - not just the be all and end all.

Why is it always "next week" on this forum?

This week has been a fantastic week. SP a bit lower than we would like but a big increase compared to close of last week.

We've had the announcement of P3, some great media coverage and a growing body of evidence to support being accepted into Activ-2.

Can we not just enjoy this week for a bit rather than expecting an RNS everyday and a 10% jump in price.

Sleepless nights with excitement maybe!

In all seriousness though, Doc is right. Until the results are in and verified you never fully know.

Sort of my feelings on it too Chris.

He wasn't in front of the cameras making bold predictions until now and is t in the habit of unneccassarily talking up the treatment.

I think they have been doing a power of research behind the scenes which you and I will never be aware of and this has given SH the confidence to now get in front of the cameras.

He could easily have kept quiet and waited for the results.

Last night was the first time I let myself think about what may happen if this is a success. It's all very real now.

If this does fly to £5, £10 and higher I will be beyond excited. Into dream territory for me, even at that price.

Does Sir SH strike you as a man who would ramp up production without having had discussions about orders?

We will be notified of pre-orders probably after or during the trials I would expect. For me that's when this SP flies because then you are a profitable company.

If only SNG001 made you immune to Scinv.....oh wait, the filter button does that!

Just bought in today but have been watching the price for a while.

I have to be honest TB being the CEO did put me off for a while. However, he has a track record of making money. So if you buy and get out at the right time you should be ok.

Just to clarify, by dip I just mean the SP dropping.

Even this morning at one point you could buy at low 160's - I would class that as a dip.

Remember the scale up was also evidenced in the recent job adverts for those who doubt the phone conversation.

Seaboy - a lot can happen in two weeks on this share. Two days ago you could buy at under 140 (for a very limited time).

Activ-2 is not known to a lot of people at the moment so there will be plenty who sell and are kicking themselves between now and then.

Plus, two weeks is what was mentioned on that video. If it turns out to be longer for whatever reason we know people will get twitchy and move onto the next big thing - maybe Blockchain and bitcoin for example :-)

Yesterday the board was a bit despondent and back to the frustrations about phase 3 being imminent.

Well, we are finally underway! Hold onto the railing and keep all limbs in the car, the next few weeks could be a rollercoaster.

I expect the SP to drop back a bit in the next couple of weeks as tends to happen with no news. This will likely be our last chance to top up. During any fall expect the army of trolls to be out in force but we've had months of that already so keep ignoring and keep the faith.

Those who have been here for a while know any drop will be temporary. There are some big pieces of news to come - some expected, and probably some we won't expect. Nor do we know when it's coming, so try not to get frustrated if things go quiet for a while.

This week has reminded us of the science behind this treatment. People will continue to die without it. Vaccines may save some but we know the issues with those. Don't forget why you invested hear in the first place - trust your judgement and ignore the noise.

I expect the UK and US arms of the trial will complete quickly. Less sure about other countries but the estimate on the BBC did seem quite conservative.

@Realism - essentially very little has changed. Yesterday we were a small pharma about to start a P3 trial, today we are a small pharma who has started a P3 trial.

There are some much bigger pieces of news which may/will drop over the short to medium term which will have a bigger impact on the SP.

Wet dream - what a load of nonsense. Compared to the cost of a hospitalised patient, particularly if they need a ventilator or ekmo, £2k is peanuts.

Plus if they recover and can get back to work then the patient is back contributing to the economy.

Again, let's not be despondent if this doesn't rise as much as we would like today.

The RNS this morning was just the starting pistol firing. Our real race has now started and if successful the price today will be completely forgotten about.

I should have used a golf analogy for this forum.......it's like we've teed off for the final round at the masters. A lot can still happen over the final 18 holes but play them well and we'll get our green jacket. Better?!
