Interesting to see the levels at which their is resistance. Given the news we have coming, combined with what may be announced at 8, I could see us smashing 174 off the back of our next RNS.

Can someone please explain why we think this virus would mutate and become immune to the vaccine but this doesn't happen to all viruses, for example measles, mumps etc?

Wouldn't be surprised if the first dosing took place either tomorrow or the 11th. That won't stop me logging on here just after 7am just in case though!

Agree with MrBig on the order book. Just now Synairgen are a small company and the SP is driven on potential. Once orders are received then they become income generating and that,providing results are as we expect, will be when the SP really increases.

All very fair and valid points Lola. There are no guarantees in investing so if you are truly worried then perhaps best to cut your losses whilst the share price is reasonably high.

None of us have a crystal ball so you need to do what is right for you.

6 or 7 weeks ago we were almost on the floor after the vaccine announcements.

Here we are though, back up at roughly 150p with a lot of positive news to come in a short space of time, and vaccines having been approved. Quite a turnaround!

A juicy RNS would really set the cat amongst the pigeons though. A 4.5 hour scramble to get shares while we all just watch the SP rise - that would be a great finish to the year.

Well imminent for phase 2 was two weeks from the announcement to dosing, and that didn't include disruption caused by Christmas.

The SP has a history of drifting during periods with no news, with the occasional spike.

As mentioned though, first dosing RNS should be released soon so a 5-10% hit over the next few days could easily be wiped out when that lands.

That would be great news to wake up to tomorrow.

If not tomorrow though I believe the first dosing will be days rather than weeks away. A matter of national urgency was how the NIHR described the trial - before cases spiked, the mutation was known about and delays to the vaccines.

You'll be out soon enough then. The first dosing will take us over 170.

I don't agree with that. Wouldn't be too surprised if the next RNS contained details of first dosing and conditional pre-orders on the basis of a successful P3.

I think the clue was in the job advert posted last week which mentioned scaling up. Why would they be looking to do that if no discussions had been taking place about the first 100k treatments?

That would be a nice way to end the year Doc. Hopefully they are pushing hard to get started before the end of the year,it would be a shame if it dragged into January.
