A lot being made of the home trial results being available in Q2 (otherwise known as "imminently" in Synairgen terms).

I wouldn't be all that surprised if we saw some headline data before then.

However,what this does show is where these results rank in priority for Synairgen. To me this suggests they have a whole load of other things going on which are more important than this data - speculate as to what that might be.

I suspect had the home trial results been needed to start phase 3, get emergency approval or open discussions with the FDA then results would have been available sooner.

A lot more news to come in the next few weeks and months.

The party is in the summer once the big results are out, don't worry about that.

I am in too deep with Synairgen and need to get out. If you're 286 followers (assuming they are all shareholders because you tipped them off before the big rise) all start selling then I will never get my money back.

Just 24 hours for a nice wee price rise please. What do you say?

I suspect RM has close working relationships with people in multiple big pharmas. Good to keep these on positive terms as never know when they may come in handy.

Become one of those boards that get carried away every time there is a 2% rise in the SP.

We know how volatile this share is and generally at least once per week it has a good rise. There are good times to come but let's save the rockets and the booms for the next manic Monday.

I may be completely wrong but I always though Spanish flu ended due to similar controls brought in for the plague.

Essentially they couldn't control or cure it so you were left in isolation to prevent the virus being spread further. That meant that you would either be killed by it or have a strong enough immune system to fight it off.

Essentially though it was about not allowing the transmission of the virus though, not herd immunity.

This is a much bigger problem in 2021 due to changes in society. We could never just force everyone to remain inside and mark a big X on the door of a house where someone was known to have Covid.

Time it looks like the markets and the majority of the world are in denial about what is happening.

We are a year into the pandemic and seeing new strains popping up across the globe posing a real threat to the effectiveness of vaccines.

Yet this morning a broad spectrum treatment conducting a global P3 trial is currently down on the market. Despite half the world being in lockdown and no clue as to when they will get a vaccine, travel firm TUI is up!

Patience definitely needed because SNG001 will definitely be needed.....and in big quantities.

Masks will be around for a very long time yet, even if the vaccination programme is as successful as people hope it might be.

If/when life goes back to any sort of normality these masks will be handed out at stadiums, theatres, concerts and cinemas etc as you enter.

In terms of the RNS today I read it as very positive. One more test to pass and then production can start. Once production starts you can bring in revenue and begin to grow. The only reason I can think people are being negative is because expectations had been set too high previously. If you expected the RNS today to say all tests have passed and we have an order for X masks then of course today is a disappointment.

A wee bit more patience needed yet.

Great post Saxondale. I think that probably sums up how a lot of people feel just now.

I am currently struggling with an internal debate on what to do. In all honesty I am over exposed in Synairgen and if it goes wrong then I will be paying for this for a good few years!

However, I am pretty confident this will be a success so I keep thinking just hold the shares and see it through. I may never get to be involved in a share like this again so I would be kicking myself if I sell at £3 and then a few short weeks later P3 results are released.....
