In my (unqualified) opinion there will be multiple variations and we will need to learn how to live with this virus, which is why treatments will be so important.

The virus will mutate to ensure the vaccines don't kill it off.

The number of deaths will steadily decrease over the years though as vaccines and treatments become more effective.

Nobody seems to be thinking too far ahead about this pandemic.

I have a feeling we will hear on Tuesday - dosing to start on Monday.

Once they get things organised at Belfast hospital I am sure P3 will be ready to go and the SP will be back up and running.

The BBC have been pushing a false narrative for months now.

The table which shows one dose being 90% effective is at odds with the recent article in the BMJ which suggests 52% efficacy.

There is a lack of truth and transparency about the vaccines. The popular media are doing very little to challenge what is being promoted and the country will continue to see many deaths caused by Covid -19 until there is an honest discussion about how to manage the pandemic.

Still a lot of unanswered questions about the vaccines, not to mention the unthinkable scenario of a significant virus mutation.

Frustration on these boards is linked to no update on P3 first dosing. These other bits of news are just leading to people airing all sorts of frustrations.

Whoever the Joker was who started this thread - I suspect a few of us wouldn't mind a record price drop tomorrow. A chance for a huge top up because we would very quickly be back to the same price as we are just now, if not more.

There will be room for many different treatments. Even if monoclonal antibody treatments are approved before SNG001 there is still a huge market for multiple treatment options.

Hang tight for P3, approval and eventually some orders.

Perhaps our focus really has just shifted to America. The government here will be all over other treatments so perhaps that's why we're working closer now with the FDA?

No peer review and other treatments being tested before that setting. Can only hope we fall into that category but not expecting anything.

If we were having a sweepstake I think the trial will start on Monday and we will get an RNS on Tuesday.

In my opinion we will see a minimum of 10% rise in the SP once the RNS lands so any minor drops before then should easily be wiped out.

Maybe you need to look closer at what GSK are trialling and the differences between that and SNG001.

Once you understand the differences you can make an informed choice about your investment.

Lola - this is virtually a copy and paste of your previous post and you will likely get the same replies.

I don't know the first thing about setting up a P3 trial but I imagine it's not easy, especially over Christmas and New year. Dosing will begin soon, either wait it out like the rest of us or sell up if really concerned.

Please don't keep posting the same message though as you will soon end up filtered by a lot of people.

So, in theory, now that the order is filled and the announcement made, brokers should be quite happy just to let the price rise up to its natural level then?

Here is hoping for a rise tomorrow, followes by another when we get news of the first dosing.

Idiot question time - why would Polar buying more shares result in the SP being kept down?

If anything that seems counterintuitive, a company buying that many shares should see the SP rise?

Or is it because they have bought them at a set price (say 156p) and now the broker(s) need to buy enough shares to fill the order at that price?

I think we're all acutely aware of where the SP was a few weeks ago. I don't want to see us lose the recent gains though if this delay continues though.

The lack of communication has been an issue for a while. I trust the BOD and believe they are working away behind the scenes but communication with shareholders and media has been extremely poor (in my opinion).

Yes, we should be updated when there is something newsworthy but that is below the bare minimum. No word on orders (or discussions about orders), poor information on the status of trials, engagement/support from governments and regulators.

SNG are probably just getting my frustrations due to other issues today but they are certainly not helping.

No fun watching our SP slowly retreat, the country going back into lockdown and people dying, while we wait to get on with a trial of 610 people.

Get it started and get it done ASAP. Patience not one of my strong points!
