Ha ha - exciting maybe isn't the word I would use. It's exciting when the SP rises, on the really bad days I would say it's been eventful!

Any reason other than we are now approaching the end of Q4 that makes you think this?

I remember at the start of November when we thought we had an exciting couple of months coming up with several RNS being published and so far there has been next to nothing.

Bella - I think pharma's will definitely be keeping one eye on what SNG are doing, but happy to leave us doing our own thing at the moment.

But if anything happens with their vaccines - efficacy not as expected, or a Covid mutation - then watch them come circling for SNG.

Doc - I think it probably means people will now start calling/emailing Polar to ask when P3 is starting and how many people have been treated!

Polar are being very smart.

Keep in mind the economic landscape we're operating in. The vaccine news is out, so we are about as low as our SP should go. A no deal Brexit is around the corner so larger companies are going to take a massive hit shortly if this is confirmed.

SNG should be viewed as an excellent investment opportunity.

I know that it's AIM and share prices can fluctuate but the behaviour of the SP this week is seriously suspicious.

Very little happening on Monday and then all of a sudden, over the space of around 30 minutes, it jumps 25%.

If there was any sort of leak then you would have expected that rise to have continued into the following day, but no. Instead we go back into a decline. But not a sharp decline where there was a quick buy and then equally quick sell off, just back to a slow, steady decline.

It's very strange behaviour and someone, somewhere must be making money out of this.

People should be old enough and big enough to make up their minds, not follow posters on here.

I sold too - had some sitting at 108 average so have sold, bought back in and have a wee bit left for Xmas shopping.

Loads of people on here with different strategies. I don't mind hearing what genuine investors are doing and their reasons.

I absolutely hope there is a big RNS tomorrow as the patience of investors on this board really deserves to be rewarded. However, if I've learned nothing over the last few months it's that this share price can be moved to wherever people want it to be. As I said earlier, remember the sudden rise before the placing after dropping down to 140p? There have been other rises also off the back of no news.

For me, I'll just wait and see what tomorrow brings but not going to get carried away until there is some concrete news.

I hope so because her future predictions would still give us all a nice return.

Yep, fair play Eva. You get plenty of stick on here (unfairly imo) and you out your neck out with some predictions but have called it so far.

It's not so long ago though that we saw a sharp rise up to around 230p and were then hit with news of the placing though, so on second thoughts maybe I should be careful what I wish for!!

The numbers for the home trial may well be small if the majority of focus has been on setting up a quick phase 3.

Vaccine companies were only really reported in the media when they had results to share. The same as SNG was in July and to a lesser extent when peer review peas published.

SNG have featured on most, if not all, of the media outlets you just listed. Without more data what would the story be? 'Man who works for drug company tells us all how good the product they are making/selling is'? Not much of a story.

The problem is SNG haven't done anything worthy of big media attention for a while. There is no amount of spin or publicity which can counter that.

And I do take on board that some form of marketing for the home trial has been missing.

If they only have 40 patients then that is a very poor for the length of time and date of cases.

Articles on the BBC news won't make a blind bit of difference. I suspect all the relevant marketing is being done behind the scenes. It will only become evident to is once the phase 3 results are there to back it up. Otherwise your all style and no substance.

The vaccines caused such a storm in the media because they are on a completely different scale to SNG. They can produce billions of vaccines over the next year and are aimed at prevention rather than treatment. A vaccine is not our competition so trying to act like it is would simply not work.

All of the right people are aware of SNG. A marketing man or campaign will not make a blind bit of difference to the NIHR, FDA or EMA - all bodies that we're actively engaged with.

We would all like to see the SP rise, to see things moving faster or hear a buzz that provides reassurance that we've backed the right horse here. I just don't believe it's needed.

Did the Pfizer announcement make you want to get vaccinated? Did it raise their SP? Or did it set expectations and pressure to deliver - like happened to Azn.

The publication of results will be all the sexing up you need. Anything now will have minimal impact on the SP.

As phase 3 results come out, if they are as good as we all think and the product is as good, then we will see another manic Monday but this time the price won't drop afterwards as the orders will back it up.

Patience will hopefully be rewarded. You either believe in it or don't, all the petty arguments on here to prove a point are futile.

Slightly off topic, but since the vaccine announcements the whole market really has gone crazy.

Was looking at EasyJet, Tui and BA today. They are all significantly up over the last few weeks. Does anyone know anyone who has booked, or planning to book a holiday? Or anyone travelling for business given offices are still closed?

Same with the bank. Borrowing at levels never seen before, record low interest rates, furlough to end soon and Brexit still looming over us - yet prices significantly up.

There will be a levelling back out at some stage. I suspect a lot of shares, including us, are still to find their true value.

It has been proven to be an effective treatment - can send you a link to the article if you like. Only proven on a small sample size though, that's the issue.

Agreed org, the vaccines are coming and the efficacy may well be lower than what was reported but they will still be successful.

There should still be space for SNG though. Even if it means we eventually get something like £3 per share, we will all still be in profit, the world can start getting back to normal and I can use some profits to go on holiday. Not a bad scenario if you ask me.
