Show, correct me if i am wrong, but you state RDS divi increase against BP as if it means BP are some how failing? RDS divi is now just below BP, BP have given over a year of higher Divi than Shell. It is if future increases occur that those kind of comparisons can be made.

IMO if BP keep acquiring wind / solar companies and managed to get the profits rolling in the next 6 months it may be about that point that the market will understand or see if it has potential, as i believe that the SP simply comes down to unknowns and caution atm.

I actually thought over maybe last 2 weeks they had evened out and were somewhat synced again, ignoring results day. Rdsb dropped more than BP on a day / few days after results as well, so maybe what's happening here a bit. Could be wrong as havnt paid massively close attention.

Mojo, get the waning power bit, but i dont understand the unable to compete in the new age part? BP are very capable of doing that are they not? The other question who would be BP's competition that are overtaking them?

Is there anyway to find out how many shares are more or less day traded generally over a peroid of time? Looking to see if i can find a % that potentially don't really move vs traded, but not sure if this is possible for what i have in mind? Just wondering if buybacks may affect day traders and even if it does, would that be a good thing? (i am assuming it wont affect them, but just curious on a more general view)

I thought they said reduce production by 40%. Correct me if I'm wrong but that doesn't equate to 50% reduction in revenue . I thought the entire point was also to cut the chaff and focus on high margin, so even with a 40% reduction the revenue may fall by a lot less for oil

I was talking to someone this morning about UK companies etc that are in a undervalued market being bought by Americans on mass, I personally find it worrying. Is there anything that can stop it though?

Infection rates are important, but only to other countries that have not got high vaccination rates. This is what it will be like everywhere at some point, I still think bojo should have pushed for over 18s to get first jab quicker, should have happened at least a month ago, which would have helped. It's the people who call astra "astrakilla" or whatever, and those that flount missinformation about vaccines and how well they work with variants are the problem and why countries / vaccine rollouts are so far behind in places. Anti Vax and people who just don't bother also.

I agree about US, I'm obviously hoping it goes up but I would be happy with a even open for a few days. Would like some days of not going down! The way it's moving at the moment I feel any supports etc really have no meaning, we are adrift and at the mercy of the wind and it will push past any port without a thought. A lot of negative sentiment out there, I don't really understand it, but I also don't stay as up to date on other countries as I should.

Leaden, for example of what you said, i believe (i read somewhere so, grain of salt) 10% of those offered vaccines have not had them, thats 10% of 30-90's!
