Also why would glencore have been good, as you mention cop26, wouldn't glencore be suffering the same with its coal etc? smithy i replied without really paying it alot of attention and worded it poorly, and was a general reply to pianista and about general age groups, now thinking you were just talking about >25. However refusing the vaccine is not the same as what happened during covid and the massive amounts of money wasted. I personally think covid and lockdowns and the debt caused should have happened differently.

Because a significant amount of time and seeing the destruction and death it caused is just "blindly taking it". It's not a issue of intelligence, it's lack of common sense and selfishness.

What exactly is that article saying apart from US don't like high gas prices and won't win elections, so oil won't go above X Y Z ? I read a much better article on there earlier that actually looked at multiple sources, might be missing something in this article though.

As much as i would like to see oil at that price for this share, i really don't think unpredictable and unstable events are a good thing. I think a lot of the larger investors are not here simply because of the volatility of oil price and the uncertainty.

What exactly can anyone do to halt the climate change quickly? Is carbon capture the only viable method? I cant see major industry's being able to do anything, concrete, steel etc. IS Carbon capture alone enough to slow it down with the majors then slowly reducing over decades? One reason i decided to invest more in BP was there green agenda, but by the report even that seems like it needs to be brought forward 5 years, but the world simply wont be in a place to cut fossil fuel consumption anywhere near what they need.
