£24,000 rise in 2 days for me …luvly jubbly…some people disagree with how I invest but days like these convince me that I’m doing nothing wrong , until the next big drop …

Missed the absolute high and have now decided to stay invested , just hope there isn’t a large drop tomorrow…famous last words and all of that !

Well , this is looking great ( unless there’s a drop later ) , I really didn’t expect such a significant rise over the last day or two , I’ve got to question myself now , do I take the large profit and run , or stick it out and collect the dividend along the way , was always wanting to be out before the budget so maybe I should be satisfied with the potential profit and not get too greedy ( again) be good to read others opinions on their plans/ideas , obviously I understand lots of you are long term holders who never trade , I understand and respect that and I’m sure you will do will in the future

£17.10 is my target stevebt but pleased with another five figure profit at £16.88 from my trade a couple of weeks ago , the million dollar question , how much will it drop on ex div , I’ll see what happens today , whether we reach my target or not , fingers crossed and good luck

I was thinking the same stevebt, I’ve been watching Bp and Vistry like a hawk but decided for once to stick with Psn , expecting ( hoping ) for another rise tomorrow before ex div day on Thursday, will then decide if I sell up , Bp div due soon but it’s sp is so unstable with the war/oil price

Stevebt , if I’d acted quickly , I would of piled the lot into Vistry yesterday morning and sold the same day , I’m following it now but just a bit nervous of their internal investigation, if it really is just a problem with the southern sites then their sp should recover significantly, missed an opportunity to sell Psn first thing this morning before it dropped, hopefully it will pick up again today and then I will see whether I sell and buy into Vistry. Bp is up and down with the oil price

Well my timing was extremely poor , didn’t see this drop coming , sometimes it works out right and sometimes not , sit back and wait for an upturn , where’s denbys crystal ball when you need it !

I have stevebt and rather than take the profit , I’ve added more shares , now to sit tight and wait for the next rise which will come , just when , we don’t know , maybe a further drop but I’m happy with my additional shares , I felt I’d missed the golden opportunity with BP although I’m keeping an eye on the oil price etc

Hmmm, dropped , maybe a nice point for me to buy back in with a decent profit

Crossley , nice to sit back and enjoy looking at my hard earned gains in the account until I decide where next to invest .

robleo, I’m happy to watch where this goes in the next week , if all is relatively ok globally , I will expect this to climb considerably in the week before the next BOE rate announcement in November so plenty of time for me to decide where I want to invest .

Hope you all enjoyed the rise earlier today , looks short lived . Decided to sell the lot today , will buy back in if the sp drops significantly . I’m feeling a bit uneasy with investments currently with the wars going on .

Bank of England governor says they could become more aggressive with rate cuts , let’s hope so , gave the sp a boost this morning

Stevebt , interested to hear why you’ve changed your opinion on Psn , you’ve been backing this share for the last 2/3 years since I’ve been reading your posts , always confident of it returning into the £20s . I think Bp is currently a bit of a gamble , especially with a labour government that could make life much harder for them and oil , I think if that had crept into the £17s I might of sold up and moved into something else , as you know , I’m not a person who can just invest and leave it for years , I enjoy change and trying to earn a few quid quickly

Strictly , can I ask you reasons for not being invested in house builders anymore , do you not see potential for recovery with Psn sp ?

Are we building momentum again with the SP , let’s hope we can regularly break into the £17s so this can take the next big step up in price

My plan was to sell at £17 and put it into Bp , certainly see potential for relative quick growth on the SP, will reassess this tomorrow

Afternoon crossley . Well it got near £17 then took a tumble , general consensus seems to be a couple of rate drops before the end of the year , obviously depends on the inflation figure, this share seems to have a bit of a pattern of a big rise up to interest rate announcements and then a drop , followed by a stable period , get those right with some trading and you’d do well , famous last words… the sensible investors will just hold long term , sadly that’s not me , I enjoy trading and except getting it wrong sometimes and enjoy the gains when right . Certainly been a better week with the SP increase , I’m hoping to see £17 again today , was expecting a bit more of a rise this morning, opened well but dropped back , eagerly awaiting the Bank of England announcement shortly , although it’s been reported of a hold on interest rates , let’s hear what they have to say going forward.
