Hi all . Just wondering people’s thoughts on where you think this is heading , I presume that long term you are all positive , the dividend payment is attractive if the short term growth looks uncertain. I’m disappointed that I didn’t buy back in around the £4 mark and am now thinking about a long term investment, I know there is no crystal ball but it’s good to read others opinions. Cheers

All my dealings with Hargreaves have been great , can’t comment on this dividend as I was invested elsewhere but never had a problem previously

I made an absolutely terrible decision with selling , potentially if I’d got the timing better I could have made an extra £35,000 , also missed the boat getting back into BP at £4 . Happy to be sensible at the moment and hold off until after the budget because I’m convinced things will take a big downturn, however, on my recent decisions what the hell do I know !

Stevebt, TW has its positives with the huge dividend, however, I’m not convinced it can be sustained in the current climate ,PSN are in a much stronger position financially with lots of land , I’m not too hopeful short term though , things look against the builders. I’m mad with myself for not piling all in to BP when it hit £4 very recently, with all their oil exploration I think next year that will fly and not a bad dividend to receive 4 times a year . If this drops again I’ll be back in for some short term trading opportunities. Good luck buddy

Morning guys , any views on where we think this is going this week , obviously last week was impressive, is this going to be a week of negativity, probably none of us know ?

Hmm is this a good opportunity for me and anyone else to buy back in , nobody has a crystal ball but I’m sure this will bounce back ? Any views ?

Morning all , I sold the lot this morning so this should now fly high !

Finding the fluctuations tedious, if it drops like it generally has after a bit of a rally , perhaps I’ll buy back in or look at Taylor Wimpey , they should have a bit of a recovery to catch up after paying their dividend .

That’s conservatives saying that not the current government so I wouldn’t get too excited

Sadly we read this stuff all the time , I personally take zero notice , the share price doesn’t lie , going nowhere, I remember when this was around £17 and everyone was saying that it won’t be long until we are in the £20s and now look where we are , getting excited about trying to reach £12 and even that’s not achievable, back down we go …. Yes I’m negative but I see no positive whilst labour are in power , I hope I’m totally wrong and this rises and rises , best of luck to all wherever you put your money .

As I type I see the price is recovering, hopefully we will go back to a positive week

So let’s see how the market views the governments announcement on buying and selling homes , expected to save first time buyers £700 but perhaps cost sellers around £300

Morning all , rather than one of my usual negative comments, this is looking a little more positive, hoping we can head back towards the £12 region , shame we dropped back on yesterdays gains but a decent opening price , hope I haven’t cursed it …
