NO is on her way to Scapa Flow after a 25 hour hook-up - indicating a probable load of around 500k.

The market cap only values Enquest at £170m - the company is clearly worth far more than that but the problem is when will fortunes change.

Profitability is clearly limited by Brent but sentiment also plays a big part and in Enquest's case the sentiment has reduced volume so that the SP is still just drifting down - its not following Brent anymore when it rises.

I think the horrors at PMO, HUR and Tullow have also done damage - Enquest has unfairly been labelled with the same brush.

Clearly its not a good time to hold Enquest and not early enough to buy even as a contrarian investment but is it a sell?

I sold because I only had a few left, but I might miss out if AB pulls a blinder or if there is a takeover bid.

I think if I was still heavily invested that I would sell a proportion and invest in a portfolio of 3-4 growth shares to spread risk.

Realistically, I think that we are looking at 2022 for the significant recovery to around the 2.25- 2.50 mark - that would currently give entry back into the FTSE 100 and would probably also need to see the dividend restored.

Looks very good - I guess M&S might be interested - it could easily fit into some of their over spacious stores.
I was looking at M&S instore Christmas collections earlier - this would certainly make a big difference to their efficiency and capacity.

The performance of marksandspencer.com could give us a nice surprise.
A lot of traditional M&S customers who haven't ventured onto the High Street much this year could have been tempted to sharpen up their digital skills and take the plunge with an order - choosing a brand they trust would be the obvious choice.

Also I see that M&S are booking Christmas food collection slots in store for just the cost of a deposit - that will I think be very popular this year. Not everyone will be lucky enough to get a delivery slot.

You seem to be forgetting that ITX is a manufacturing company receiving repeat orders for its products - its unlikely orders will fall unless companies cease selling the product. In fact they should rise as the product becomes more popular.

Growth will depend on new products being added for sure, but its unlikely to go backwards as you suggest.

The main problem is that sentiment is well and truly at shot - so many investors have lost money here for the last five years - corvid has been brutal to M&S pushing the SP to rock bottom.

However, in reality things are not nearly as bad as the current position indicates - the market cap is far lower than it should be - this is a profitable company with lots of fixed assets - the Ocado deal has given it new life - food in general is doing well across the business - many of the old high street stores are closing and new out of town developments are opening.

Sure, there is a hell of a long way to go - especially with closing high street stores - but once corvid is over things will become much clearer here.

This is still very much a contrarian buy, don't expect great things to happen quickly but eventually if you are very patient good profits are to be made here - especially when the SP brings the stock back into the FTSE100.

An excellent opportunity for a investment here now - shorts are out and the SP is about to make another leap forward towards the top end of the year range.

This is an encouraging trading update from Lookers national network of Car dealerships and much better than anticipated.
It just shows that the green shoots are out there and demand for fuel should be starting to improve.

NO is now 27.8 nautical miles to the east of AK - no indication of an immediate hook-up - she is still due at Scapa Flo early on Sunday morning, so we should see a hook-up some time today - today is 11 days since the last tanker left - the weather is calm.

Hopefully more shorts taking the opportunity of a red day to cash out - it seems like they have been pulling down the SP this week anyway.

There doesn't seem to be much difference between the level 3 covid restrictions and the circuit breaker that Starmer is calling for other than it is area specific - especially now that Liverpool are keeping kids off school for another week at half term.

Whatever the politicians call it, I wish that they would just get on with it and impose effective local lockdowns where they are needed in these low compliance zones of the country - a beefed up level 3 would seem to be the obvious solution and one that would do the least damage to retail.

Its a crazy decision, the site is away from most residential housing with a Royal mail depot on one side and a railway line on the other side - in other words perfect for a 24 hour operation - especially when you consider that the kids are only at school during the day.
