If they have the savvy to get as far as the channel coast then they would probably make good and productive UK citizens - why not let them become UK citizens as part of a controlled quota system after background checks etc.

Probably would apply to M&S as well - so people are spending more on their homes and kids, as they return to school, but men's and women's ware is still slow, although I guess the M&S core range of clothing may be doing ok.

This is an interesting development by Amazon - if it works maybe Ocado Retail & M&S could develop the concept instore.
I guess Ocado already have plans to supply vertical farmed goods online at some stage.

I think that that is wishful thinking at the moment, and in the run up to Christmas, but hopefully by March you will be 100% correct. In the meantime the restrictions are needed.

I think that the only danger to the markets is if the election is contested - the actual outcome will make little difference - its possible that the markets may be concerned with a Democrat as president and a Republican senate.
