If you want to gallop away in the widely predicted commodities super cycle - Brent at $100 seems likely now - you have to be riding the right horse - time to decide I think.

I think it will be necessary to see a good increase in institutional investment to soak up some of the liquidity in TRX.
This does seem to be a trigger for small caps to increase their SP's.
Hopefully with the numbers improving it will part of the progression, and it does seem to be starting to happen.

Still in limbo at the moment waiting for David Palumbo's efforts to bare fruit and the cash to flood in during H1.
Between now and then any movements in the SP are more or less irrelevant.
Still a fantastic opportunity for investment here before the SP takes off.

I am very optimistic for TRX.
The results due in the Spring will be for Danny Lee's first year as CEO and with all the new facilities plus the encouraging noises from Hardman & Co, I think we could all be in for a surprise.
But first we have a trading update due in about a month - hopefully that will launch some upward momentum.

Yes, certainly debt is the downfall.
Regardless of where the debt came from, my point is that AB didn't get a chance to pay it down because Brent was low when Kraken was in peak production.
Therefore, now he is in the position where he has to build new production revenue - he has started that process with GE.

Total stock out on loan in December was slightly down on November - from 10.97% to 10.69%.

Short Tracker only shows one short at 0.51% but I guess there are a lot more below the reported level of 0.5% and that they are just jumping in and out quickly in an opportunistic way and are creating their own volatility during the current period of relatively low volume while we wait for news.

AB did build it - with Kraken - only trouble was that the Yanks overproduced, then Covid came and ruined peak production.

Now AB has to build it again - that's the trouble with oil production, you have to keep throwing capital spend at it and unless Brent performs no one gets rich, its just more dilution.

I based my investment here on the obvious commitment of Oli and Theo Green and their impressive client list.
I don't pretend to know much about what they do.
Also with so many shares held by significant holders any positive movement, like we have seen today, should see good growth in the SP.

The final results are due at the end of May, my guess is that we will get news of a reintroduced dividend at that point for 2022-3.

As for the SP, I can clearly see £3 now and a return to the FTSE100.

Also I see MKS as a firm 5 year hold, with much more to come, so I think long term pre 2019 shareholders who are still in the red can also be optimistic of eventually making a profit.

As a potential investor, I would need to know the projected production for 2022.
Especially after the decline in production and missing projections last time around - without that info, I think I would invest elsewhere - maybe the reason for the low volume.

I don't think the trading update can come soon enough.

Yes, I agree SlowRoll - so hopefully they will use their influence to get a hydrogen fuel network in Japan, although the Japanese don't seem to care if its green hydrogen.

Yes, the last set of results in October showed the potential - Omicron delayed it - but I think now we should see a good surge forward in 2022.
The big difference here is that the SP still has some some way to go north - many other Covid recovery stocks are almost back to full valuation.

They don't need to be particularly high Neil, especially as most have the same idea - its been widely flagged by the media and is following a 2021 trend - the contrarian in me doesn't like following the pack, especially at this late stage, most of their profit is already priced in.

Ocado is now a strong buy for contrarians like me.

I am not at all surprised by todays fall - investors are simply switching horses from Growth Shares to Value Shares and are now also seeing through to the end of Covid, so the Covid recovery plays are coming to the fore.

Also, the shorts are fully exploiting the opportunity - we will get Euroclear data in a few days for December - I guess their are multiple shorts under 0.5%. - shorts were over 10% in November.

Its just a case of holding until Ocado release good news - patience as always.
