The weekend is a great time for putting the finishing touches to any report. Especially where the details need to be precise and ready for an approval.

Probably why Tuesday is a good day to release an RNS.

According to comments in the RNS dated 31st Oct and reaffirmed at the AGM :

"All three patients in Cohort 2 have successfully received two doses and the injections were well tolerated with no safety concerns. Encouragingly, all three patients showed a delayed type hypersensitivity response to the vaccine, which is indicative of a T cell response, and the first patient to be assessed has shown a partial tumour response at first radiological reassessment".

My understanding of mechanism used by Moditope means that the 'delay type hypersensitivity' of the T Cells means they will be able to mounted an attack on the tumours cells. If the T Cells are responding in all three patients then you would totally expect to see tumour regression in all three because that is the only job those T Cells have been primed to do.

Once at the site of the tumour the destiny of the cancer cells is then governed by that particular person's cancer immuno environment. What we are waiting to hear is what percentage of regression the other two patients have experienced.

Very true, the reason that those that know nothing sometimes think they know something is due an assumption that the something they think they know is real, when the truth is that they obviously lack the capacity to know when the something that they know actually equates to nothing in the real world.

It shows on the AGM Presentation that we are already at Phase2 so I presume Phase1 just covered Cohorts 1 & 2. Now we are treating Cohort 3 we've reach Ph2.

Therefore what I was supposed to say earlier.

I hope we have exceptionally better data once we have completed our Phase 2 part of the Trial with is set to complete early 2024.

I honestly thought Phase 1 would not be past until we had the data readout on Efficacy..... you can tell I was in Metal Engineering and not Biosciences...

They are already at a Phase2b stage of their trial so plenty of data to scrutinise.

Lets hope that when we get past the Phase 1 stage of the MotiTope trial we will see exceptionally better stats .....

I would imagine that there will be many pharma companies very interested in ModiTope after Scancell report data on Efficacy, which will be around March next year. At the moment we are waiting for confirmation that the tumours in all three of Cohort 2's patients are regressing and its not just one amazing responder.

You can work out that the trial is going well by the fact that more clinical centres have opened and that the lead clinical scientist is so excited about the result seen in patient 1. That is according to patient 1's own comments.

We just await the information to come directly from Scancell and then we will know for absolute fact that ModiTope is the real deal.

Horizons commercial successes and its pipeline are mainly Mab based.
When the Covidity Trial reports in January it could totally validate AvidiMab.

Scancell could then build an entire company on just licensing out AvidiMab to these pharma companies.

Could it also be Calculus Capital are still selling ?

The 'By the End of 2022' promised news is now set to land inside the next 7 trading days, as I presume Scancell will partially close over Christmas and New Year .

SCIB1 + Ci Scancell has repeatedly said there will be an update on that trial in December 2022.

ModiFY Trial will report on progress with hopefully all Cohort 1 patients having been approved to move to the full Vaccine doses.

Cohort 2 update on scans that should now officially confirm the status of all three patients.

Cohort 3 we may be officially told the number of patients enrolled and that the first patient has been dosed.

The company however may want to now proceed with the ModiFY trial without detailing every new step forward.

Not definite but we could also hear about the appointments of a new Chairman and a potential replacement for Prof Richard Goodfellow.

After our long journey another week is nothing. All I want is the ability to have Christmas with loved ones and finally know that ModiTope is doing its 'Cancer Bashing Magic' ........

As we know Scancell does like a Tuesday for issuing an RNS, RuckRover extensively researched this phenomenon showing there to be a slight but statistical preference for the 2nd day of the week.

There being only two possible Tuesdays left this year, tomorrow has a more than 50/50 chance of news appearing at 7.00am.

Let them get on with it, most probably someone who loaded up and now needs to exit before they are in a loss position.

Don't forget traders can buy on 20 day terms and sell at anytime before the note is due to be paid but as that date approaches they either have the cash to hand or are forced to sell, these current trades fit with the latter.

Just my theory because any genuine investor would not be selling at this time ( news pending ) and definitely not in these quantities.

Could it be something they have learnt from the SCIB1 + Ci Trial to do with how the checkpoint inhibitor takes the brakes off the immune system.

There has to be a very valid reason because the ModiFY trial is dealing with very poorly people for the most part.

May be worth sending an email to the trials team and see if they are happy to say why.

Now I've read it back, yep it's not quite right is it. Let just say I'm very positive in my outlook for Scancell and 2023.

Problem is I'm 'not exactly a Rocket Scientist' ........ : )

The writer's whole premise is that the current rise is a bubble and without substance.

Their advice therefore is wait until its on Sky and the BBC with the SP heading past 50p+ and only then make a brew and have a think about it. Not really advice is it.

The news we've had recently means I see the upside risk in Scancell as now many times greater than the downside.

I don't need a procrastinating Fool who obviously doesn't know the full facts to tell me which way the wind is blowing.

As the next few months reveal the just how potent Modi1 is and we start to enjoy the reality of our cancer Vaccine.

The mind boggles at a possible future where Modi 1, 2 and 3 all make it into clinical trials. Backed up with iSCIB1+, iSCIB2+, GlyMabs 134 & 2811, AvidiMab and TCB Antibodies.

If we can keep all these assets inside one company just how valuable would it be in 5 years time.

Yes you are correct. I think the report on SCIB1 + Ci will also include some context of how iSCIB+ will be added or supplant the SCIB1 in the ongoing trial.

Trying to establish that not all the news we are waiting for is about Moditope.

Keeping an eye on our other Platform.

News due before the end of the month on the SCIB1 + Checkpoint Inhibitor Trial. The report should advise on patient numbers and progress report.

In January 2022 we were advised that iSCIB+ would be being proved up and more would be said before the end of 2022. So we should hear how that is progressing towards the clinic.

Hi Crackin

I would hope that most long term investors would have taken advantage of the lower prices over the years. I first bought at 24p and more at 32p but have averaged down as the years have been proving up the science. I just always believed that when Scancell's science was put to the test in humans it would work and we are beginning to see that dream happening for real.

So I do not despair for anyone who bought in early as they have either reduced their average or will shortly be in profit.
