We have four GlyMab collaborations. I presume the GenMab one was the first back in September 2019.
The second announced on the 16th December 2019 was with a Chinese BioTech.
The third 20th January 2020 with a US Based Clinical Stage Antibody company.
Then the pandemic shut everything down for a year at least.
The fourth and most recent 17th March 2022 with a Major European Pharma.
Taking the pandemic out of the timeline and presuming that GenMab were the first means the period from agreeing the collaboration to signing a commercial deal took approx two years.
Therefore the Chinese and US collaborations (if successful) cannot be very far from a decision. The fourth on this basis is at least a year away from being meaningful.

The point is that another one or two GlyMab deals could be very close.

I also share the frustration of yet another set of verbal promises that have sailed away into the sunset.

However, I'm actually very calm and the main reason is the CV of our new Chairman.
Scancell have attracted and engaged an outstanding figure in the world of oncology. He is 'the real deal' and we should not be worrying about why the SP has come down a few pence, that's just sentiment and the fact that Scancell is traded to a degree.

Jean-Michel is the footballing equivalent of signing a Top Premier League Manager.

My opinion for what it is worth is that Covidity was never a core ambition for Scancell. It was a 2020 pandemic lock down opportunity to do science.

SCIB1 and ModiTope weren't going anywhere fast but Scancell, Nottingham Uni and the Van Geest Institute formulated a plan based on developing Immunobody. The main crux being the attempt to direct 'T' Cells at the Spike and Nucleocapsid.

It was also the perfect proving ground for the new kid on the block 'AvidiMab'.
The other item for testing was this PharmJet delivery, if that could work maybe SCIB1 could move away from TriGrid.

I have no feelings of ambition for Covidity, if it gains a champion well that is fantastic but what it has already done for Scancell is put Immunobody in the shop window and proved a concept called AvidiMab to actually work.

So to me Covidity has been a source of great momentum in the development of Scancells Science as a whole.

Surely it implys that the Immunobody Platform can target many viral diseases. It has the delivery system worked out and it generates a 'T' Cell reaction.
We are not sure how potent but from such small numbers it does shout to be developed by one of the large pharma Cos.

Our new Chairman will know which doors to open. Fingers crossed.....

When we think of Immunobody as a Platform the positive value of this Covidity RNS matched up with last week's news that Ichor has taken up their 3 million options leaves just SCIB1 + Ci (SCOPE Trial) to report.
A positive report on the SCOPE trial could well lead to the sale of that Platform as suggested by Scancell previously.

As WTP pointed out earlier, it is an unusual (for Scancell) timing of this RNS, first thing on a Monday.

That does fit with the new Chairman having a week to get his feet under the table and gives room for the potential of a further announcement this week.

I felt that the current SP contained little or no value for Covidity and today's market reaction shows that for the majority Covid is a thing of the past. Which it is most definitely not.

Fantastic news and a real positive for Scancell and Immunobody as a whole.
In the world of Covid all we ever hear is "we need active 'T' Cells to create universal vaccines to defeat the continual mutations of the virus".

Well we now have one 'Covidity'.

Just seems an odd timing given that they could have held on a while longer. I suppose its the 'why now' intrigue.

Aso after the Tilly Mint revelations I didn't think we would ever return to 18p.

I thought that last traunce was granted only on the basis of the Phase II being completed not just an options end date.

My guess is that the iSCIB+ has been approved so the SCOPE trial can now move on to the PharmaJet delivery system.

Thus concluding Ichors part in the trial. Options therefore matured.

Agreed, LD was very assured that the Covidity report was being wrapped up in December and released in January.
The Interim Report told us nothing new about Covidity or gave any indication as to why there wasn't a report as predicted at the AGM. What we have now is sometime in Q1.

It's not the lack of a report that is of any issue, it's the company that set the time frame as January. So when the target date is put back by a few months and no explanation is offered it leads to questions that affect the share price and that's not how it should be.

Are the trial updates in the Interim Reports meant to satisfy the promises made that reports would arrive on ModiFY, SCIB1 & Covidity. If they are deemed to cover those promises when can we expect single trial update reports / RNS.

ModiFY could now wait for patients to have further scans and we know that Cohort2's first patient has another scan at the end of February, I'm going to suggest that we will not hear anything until early / mid March.

Covidity is on ice pending ?? We just don't know which way that trial is going to go. So something Q1 ( end March ).

SCIB1 Plus Ci - SCOPE Trial could report at any time but that timing will probably be around the approved trial update to iSCiB+.

In the short term it may well be :
1) New CSO or CEO with LD taking a step back, maybe ?
2) AvidiMab Deal.
3) GlyMab Deal.
4) Covidity Deal.

Another possibility medium term is that a large Pharma Co takes a stake in Scancell diluting the shares but financing the ModiFY trial until completion in 2026.

Data is now the most important commodity for Scancell.

You may be forgetting that Kashdog said he was going to sell down his holding and it may affect the share price.

So there is one possible explanation.

Someone with a CV of both the depth and quality of Jean-Michel would not be associated with an unproven company like Scancell unless he is 100% that his reputation is in safe hands.

JB1 always appreciate your appraisals based on the trial protocols.

There was a lot of details that could have been shared in a 'ModiFY Only' RNS report.
For instance : we were told that Scancell were seeking approval to move the Cohort 1 patients on to the full dose of Cohort 2, this may have happened or it was prevented or its in the pipeline. That kind of detail is surely not Trial sensitive.

All will be revealed in good time but it did feel like that fuller report was imminent.

As a few on here have already mentioned, all the signs were pointing towards some outstanding news landing in January.
The enthusiasm at the AGM was so encouraging, the details from the Macmillan ( Modi1 Trial ) patient sharing their amazing news and the company confirming the claims, the fact that we were told Covidity news to land in January. All these together painted a really positive picture.

The Interims told us everything that we needed to know to fulfil the company's obligations but has left many questions hanging and unresolved.

What we do know is that we have been brought to the end of January 2023 with Data still to be confirmed on three trials and as each week passes by the number of patients dosed and the resulting data is growing.

The ModiFY Cohort 2 patients were all showing an Immune response to their MODI1 early doses.

The fact that one was clearly seeing a fantastic reduction in their tumour and the other two ( we were told by the company ) were experiencing the same immune response was outstanding. My only error was not knowing that the other Cohort2 patients had different cancers where I assumed they were all very similar...
My lack of understanding that fact undermined the accuracy of my enthusiasm.

For you to select that post and present it the way did is the ultimate expression of 'crass'.

I find that my earlier judgement about you was, it turns out, extremely valid.
