I can only go off the fact that we had not seen any transactions of that ilk in the days leading up to the 17th and we didn't see any in the days after.

The values match up pretty well, so I'm fairly convinced those trades were RG rasing enough funds to pay Scancell the £129,000 due to them.

If those trades were just coincidence and you are indeed correct, the SP has got to move up pretty rapidly to reach 45p + by the last day of July, and I will drink to that.......

So is it a set Abstract from the trial that is presented, as in a printed poster or is it using slides, along with an Oral presentation leading to questions. All done to a strict time slot?

I'm trying to understand if I was there what I would actually see.

So there is no misunderstanding this time around I presume an Abstract is one up from a Poster Pesentation. If it's Christian who is the main speaker does an Abstract mean, on stage for a 15 minute talk followed by questions and answers ?

Given that RG had documentary evidence that he owned those shares and they were coming onto the market in a few days time I'm pretty sure he could have agreed a deal.

Unfortunately I have no experience of having to organise such a transaction but it must be a common occurrence for the MM's as this is a standard way of rewarding senior management.

That RNS on the 17th April coincided with 3 large black trades that when totalled came to approx £ 132k .
Richard Goodfellow's Share Options of 2,880,000 x 4.5p / share would cost him £ 129,600 + Brokers Fees.

So I would suggest that those Black Trades on that day points firmly towards RG raising enough funds on the 17th April to
purchase his 2,880,000 shares, which became effective on Thursday 20th April.

This would also mean that there were no performance hurdles put in place when the Options were reissued on 30th July 2020.

As we move into a new financial year could that be the catalyst for more information flowing from the company.

Our Chairman arrived on the 1st of February so he will have had three months to absorb the science. He should now be fully up to speed with the many facets of the company and reached a point where his appointment will start to have meaning and impact.

Year end always deflects focus towards tiding up loose ends and ensuring the accounts are fully in order. My hope is that the focus now changes and during May we hear more about the progress of our platforms.

I'm still convinced that we will get the 16 week comparison data on those original 14 patients. It would also be useful to hear how the recruitment is doing in the face of the NHS strikes.

What is happening with the SCOPE Trial ?
Any interest in the Covidity Data ?
Have we seen any interest in AvidiMab ?
How are the collaborations on GlyMabs progressing ?
GenMab 1st Milestone, coming soon ?

This is not a comprehensive list but explains to me why some of us are eager to hear how our investment is developing.

I've been out all day so I'm just catching up with the posts. With regards to us investors being kept in the loop with ModiFY Data as it comes in.

At the AGM in November and during the Q&A session Lindy responded to a question about the ModiFY Trial by saying something along the lines of :
The beauty of the Trial Design is that its Open Label which means we can give you regular updates.

I will listen to the recording later to hear her actual words but it was definitely along those lines.

Well all our predictions for an AACR big reveal went swimmingly well.

Being on the outside of the company and trying to fathom out when news will arrive is proving very difficult.

We know that the original 14 patients should have all reached their individual 16 week scan timeline. We also know there will be a group of other patients that we have now reached their 8 week scans.

What we don't know is wether Scancell will reveal those results as they did with the original 8 week scan data.

Question :
Is the timing of the data releases totally in the hands of the clinicians or, with the trial being open label, is there any moral duty for the company to keep investors informed on a regular basis ?

I ask because I want to know as soon as possible how those patients have progressed. On reaching 16 weeks there will be plenty of evidence to allow us long term investors a peek at what Modi1 is or is not achieving.

Open Label was hailed as having the facility to keep the trial transparent.

I think we can now understand why the Market Makers shook the tree.

So not as many traders as I surmised earlier.

The selling off shows just how many traders 'bought in' on this last rise from 16.5p to 20p.

The rise was not caused by long term investors, it was the buy on rumour sell on News or No News.

If we do see, tomorrow or Wednesday, a positive Poster Presentation RNS or as we know there should be a 16 week scan update very soon, the share price will go back up. What we need is more long term investors who see Scancell as we do but there will always be those that trade the stock.

We all seem to be coming to the same conclusion. Upto date Trial information will probably be necessary if Scancell want to impress the attendees.

If they didn't want to be put on the spot by being asked what progress has been made since January why would they attend the conference in the first place.

It would be extremely strange to present details Upto 3 months ago and nothing else.

I still hope that an update on the ModiFY trial will arrive tomorrow or Tuesday while Lindy and her team are in America.

Grabbing some of the attention should be the goal because the 8 week data already deserves some plaudits. I know its early days lin the trials journey but I'm convinced by the 1st dosing dates that we know of, the 16 week data will be already written up and in Lindys laptop.

I've looked on the AACR website and it talks about them but I can't find any list or info on what is supposed to have been released at 12.00noon ET.

I'm almost hopeful that later today when the Embargo lifts that there is no mention of Scancell...... that will add to the excitement for next week......

I noticed quite a few largish buys when the SP was at 15.85 to 16.2p range. My guess then was that some were T20 trades in preparation for the inevitable rise in the SP prior to AACR news. No RNS this morning means its time for the traders to bail.

Obviously there is a good chance of either tonight's Title reveal or a Monday morning RNS to boost the SP further but the 10% ers don't work on sentiment or maybes, it's just a case of 'get in in the bag'.

I'm hoping that Scancell will take this fantastic opportunity to release that 16 week data, fingers, toes and eyes crossed........

I've laid out my case for 'News Now Please', but you right to urge caution because we do not know all the facts or the possible dialogue going on with interested parties.

It all sounds logical to me on the RNS front but Scancell have foxed us before and they do love a bit of Left Field drama.

What ever happens it's a great time to be holding shares ....

KonarA you are absolutely correct to point that out.

All I can say is that the timing though fits perfectly with what we know about the 16 week scan timetable.

That 16 week data will contain alot of pertinent data that has to come out at some point very soon.

Another perfectly good possibility for the rationale of ModiFY RNS at this time is, when would it be any better time to reveal more positive data than when you are in America with all the main players in oncology in attendance.

So yes there is no guarantee of any Trial News but if Scancell doesn't use this opportunity that in itself would create another big question of 'Why Not'...

I cannot see an RNS being released before the Embargo is lifted and we know what the Title and Subject Matter is for the Presentation.

Embargo lifted, Scancell presentation details revealed ( or not, which would be something to get excited about ) Trial News RNS first thing Monday or latest Tuesday morning.

Pure speculation based on the practicalities and logical timings of the information to be shared.
