Falsedawn's prediction of 100 recs has got a very good chance of being correct.

We now have an very respectable 70 recs, lets see what Monday can add to the total.

The idea for the survey was put in a post at 18:41pm on Saturday and the actual Survey Post was put up at 18:50 pm.

I'm impressed with 55 recs in less than 24 hours and its the weekend. The survey number after another 24 hours taking in to account a 'market trading day' should be sufficient to spark a discussion.

There has been so much positive news released by Scancell in recent weeks that its now plainly obvious that they have a multiple of potentially valuable platforms where only one needs to succeed for the company to be worth many times the current MCap.

For all the amazing news just released by Scancell and the need for better tools to combat both Cancer and Covid, in my opinion we are still well under the radar.

It feels like we know about something the world needs but has not been told about. To prove my point I suggest a survey to assess just how many people are following our small volume chat board.

To do the survey I will start a new thread entitled 'Scancell Science will Prevail' and ask if everyone who reads this chat board can you please 'Recommend ' the post.

I would be amazed if this exercise surpasses 30 recs, thus pointing out that Scancell on LSE is still a massively under the radar biotech company.

I've been trying to find an up to date company presentation but the only one on the Scancell website is for the 2021 AGM. The Modi1 Trial layout in that presentation does not state that Head and Neck as a Monotherapy is early on in the trial, only as a Cohort4 Pre-Surgery Mono and Pre-Surgery + Ci.

Going off that Slide :
Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 are not specified as to which type
Cohort 3 is Mono -Ovarian & Mono-TNBC
Cohort 4 is plus Ci low doses leading to
a ) Pre-Surgery Mono- Head & Neck
b ) Pre-Surgery + Ci - Head & Neck
Cohort 5 is Plus Ci High dose Renal and Head & Neck.

So yes you are absolutely correct that it is not a straight forward 4 times 3 settings. It is a bit more complicated than I recalled and maybe adjusted as suitable patients enrol leading to what we know is a Mono Head & Neck patient doing extremely well.

The very quick summary is :

We found loads of Gold and Copper but the market thought we hadn't found enough, then the market thought that the Gold had gone missing but it turned Newcrest had been hiding it, but eventually came clean when GGP said they had noticed the subterfuge and told us lot. Now we are waiting for Newcrest to come clean and spell out just how much is in the magic box called Havieron.

Adding to bermudashorts post....

The 20 sites comes from a Scancell RNS that also states that there could be up to 120 patients in the trial. On the ClinicalTrials.gov website it shows that 3 sites are open and 11 more 'Not Recruiting' which I take as waiting to open.

As the ModiFY Trial moves forward it expands to cover 4 cancer types in three distinct settings,
a) Moditope - Monotherapy x 4 cancer types
b) Moditope + Checkpoint Inhibitor x 4 cancer types
c) Moditope given after a tissue biopsy and before surgery to remove the tumour.

So possibly 12 settings with 10 patients in each, which is all done as a Phase 1 Trial.

Having invested in Scancell for over 7 years there is a strange solace in being between the two realities of, 7 years of dreaming 'What If' Moditope does work in humans and the reality of what is about to become real.

We now know its working, we have a first hand account that is superb to hear, we know that Scancell are gearing up to open up the trial with 7 clinical sites 'Active' ( Scancell's words not mine ) and the potential to have 20 sites open eventually. Also, buying in Tech to enable MODI2 is another confidence boosting sign.

We are currently enthused at the news we are hearing, excited by the news yet to come but our elation held firmly in check just in case the bubble gets popped.

What a fantastic dilemma......... : )

The current movements in the share price are baby steps compared with the trading volumes that will accompany a 'Moditope Works' RNS.

It is excellent to see the SP around the 20p mark but that just brings us back where we should be with all the positive news we have received.

I maybe a little paranoid about this but I do think something is yet to be unveiled and this has held back our CEO from agreeing to do a Proactive Investors interview.

yep all three have immune responses which means that they have built a fantastic drug and is interacting inside human beings the way that Scancell saw it in the lab.

I'm conscious that we cannot be fully confident its over the line until more patients are showing tumour shrinkage. Its really that I don't want to get to far ahead of where we are right now in reality. The information we have received so far indicates very strongly that we could be witnessing the birth of a science fiction type breakthrough in our battle against solid cancers.

I'm just an investor, can you imagine how the whole Scancell team feel right now....... tense is not the word.....

Bobbust, you make a good point about the timing. Maybe she was told about the results around time of our RNS. If that is the case Scancell may have the results from Patient 2 already...

They may drop us all a note or keep it for 5 mins before the AGM so we don't get upset if the biscuits are missing.......lol

Just for info she actually states that she was the first patient in Cohort2.

"I was extremely fortunate to be offered a place on the Modi 1 cancer vaccine trial, i was the first patient on cohort 2 and have had 3 doses to date. My scan results have shown a reduction in tumour size by 30'40% which is just amazing. I'm feeling really well and my swallow has improved significantly".

Convoluted title for a post, I know .....

Taking the post earlier this week that our 1st ModiFY patient knew her scan results we can logically assume the scan was planned at two months from the initial dose. Patient No.2 would have been dosed some 3 weeks later ( that's a guesstimate ), on that assumption somewhere around w/c 5th Sept.

If the scan is planned at two months within the trial that would mean clinicians and therefore Scancell will see those resulting scans roughly the end of this week.

The point is that Scancell may have two data points before the AGM on the 21st. That is very important to all of us because it will confirm that ModiFY has worked in 2 out of 2 or it will mean Patient 1 may well be a single excellent responder.

I'm not trying to throw cold water over our excitement but the time to really be overjoyed is when positive results of the 2nd patient are announced as it will mean the immune system in both are responding to the treatment and that is a massive step forward.

Two full weeks to go until the AGM and I feel there is still a missing piece of the puzzle !

The 27p SP was purely down to our joining the Covid Race, it was a punt by many.

We may still find that we have good enough Data for Universal Covid Vaccine to cause a stir even though the Covid19 hype has all but vanished.

What we could provide is, a well tolerated 2nd Generation DNA based vaccine that offers longer protection, that doesn't need special long term storage and will be competitively priced against the mRNA Vaccines.

Covidity may still prove to be worth some pence a share.

The awful time we had to endure as the FDA held up any trial prospects while they investigated the TriGrid delivery device. That roadblock meant that Scancell actively sort out the PharmaJet alternative. So a negative became a positive.

I think the ModiFY trial has actually benefited from the SCIB1 debacle.

Burble - Great job of explaining the intricate and odd world of our immune system. After years of 'what if' and 'maybe' its getting very exciting with our first fully dosed patient showing 30-40% Tumour reduction in a few shorts weeks.

My hope is that we hear about the opening of the awaiting 11 clinical sites in the next week or two so we can get many more patients out of their Last Chance Saloon.

2023 is going to be jam packed with results, updates and data, can't wait, bring it on....

AB124 totally agree with your sentiment about decency but once the information is put on an open platform it is going to circulate if not on this board then others.

I'm looking forward to many hundreds of such posts over the next 12 months.
It is a spectacular result for that lady and my prayers go with her that the decline in her tumour continues apace.
