What has happened to our entrepreneurs?

The fall was due to the inefficiency of our government dealing with Brexit and importing refugees and others while neglecting the housing market completely. How on earth do you expect to have an open door policy with no extra accommodation to receive these overflowing guests? The failures of a conservative government are but evident.

They simply put a very high pressure on existing resources. There is no room 'in the inn'.

Apart from the over-generous salaries doled out to the board, this seems to be a well run company and a decent punt.

Lastly, we could tap into the money saved from Brexit as it is just poured down the drain in a willy nilly fashion to provide European bureaucrats with generous pensions and highly inflated expense accounts.

What we are waiting for is BHP or GLEN to step in and snatch up this company to bring the project to fruition.

I was a bit disappointed to find that there were no'purchases' on the tables for Friday. This was a mistake as I bought over 100,000 to round up my stake. It appeared as a sell. No doubt other sells were 'buys' as other punters did the same.
It is all uphill now,I feel.

Ship owners are the slowest to change to other systems. Any new competitor in the field of ocean communications can only achieve success with new ships being built. If he wants to push a new product, it makes sense to buy- out the opposition. To break into this field costs a lot of money so here's hope for a big increase in share price to at least 800p

Surely in this day and age the board could strike a deal to share the territory between the two firms. After all, there has to be FAIR competition. The world of navigation is a very large amount of water to be covered. Each firm would have its own sphere of influence. Management get your head screwed on! You have plenty of time to strike a deal.

With Shell opening hydrogen points at its garages and the future of electric cars stamped on the horizon, National Grid will have to monitor the supply of electricity to these points and will acquire added prestige. The fall from nearly �10 a share has been grossly over exaggerated. It is pleasant to see some recognition returning to this company and some credit given to its importance. Roll on �12 a share.

All this rubbish about preference shares is a 'red herring' just to damage the future rise in price. Should be useful for shorters.what about a positive discussion!

I just wonder how much the POX HUB has cost over the years. I suspect far too much. They could have bought a few new decent mines with this large expenditure, As for a huge increase in share price when it is operational, forget about it!

There are plenty of rich open goldfields in Australia. A bit of foreign expansion for a British firm might help the balance sheet.

Why do we need a POX HUB? If the ore is of a high standard, surely that is enough! Do we own a lot of useless 'low grade' gold mines? If so, GET RID OF THEM and save the POX HUB expense which seems to be going on forever. Maybe it is an expensive 'toy' of one of the directors. Why waste time, money and effort on low grade ore? Concentrate on the good stuff. I still think IRC will prove useful long term, in spite of all the 'anti'. We could buy some of the plentiful rich gold mines in Australia, where gold nuggets, 4 to 12 ounces, lie a couple of feet below the surface.

Judging by the warning signs on smoking, we have nothing to fear about the warnings on drink. We have to find some way to shorten our existence. My recent experience is that drinkers last longer, only non. drinkers die early.
