The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
This is a long term investment so treat yourself to a small top-up. See the difference in 3 years time.
The government has to keep this company solvent because it is going to provide work for a whole shire in England for 50 years. Think longterm of how much that is going to save in unemployment benefit. Apart from this it is going to be a positive contributor to the taxation system.
Don't let the city geeks drag it down.
HOLD ON TIGHT . City boys are just playing games.
This is a fifty billion pound industry. BUY, BUY BUY.
A gift at this price.
It is very interesting to see the steps being taken to clear city centres from poisonous fumes. A typical example is Madrid where the authorities have provided a system of electric scooters with plug-in charging devices available.
The secret of investment is patience. Do your research and pick a stock which is essential and has a future. Sit with it through thick and thin. If you have been accurate in your well investigated choice, the ultimate result should pay dividends.
Good choice is 'Proton Power Systems', seeing that we do not want to live with fossil fuels and their damage to our lungs and environment
What better choice have we got but to run our cars on WATER? ........... Puts the Arabs out of business!
We must EAT, so stock up here, but why should our cars DRINK all our hard earned cash to make foreign countries rich?
Ponder over it a while and do something sensible.
' it seems inevitable that all petrol and diesel cars are going to be banned from the centre of London.'
A step in the right direction should be taken by Her Majesty, by being the first to drive around the city in a hydrogen
powered car.
She should show us good example. As taxpayers, we foot the bill. This might ease the pressure, created by the
present protests and score a brownie point for the house of Windsor. What about it Charles?
You talk a lot about the environment, now do something.
Let our monarchy show the way and take a progressive step this day and age.
China has a big advantage if it goes to town on hydrogen cars. it would be a black eye for Daimler while Honda has had a hydrogen car since 2008, displayed at the motor show in London's Docklands that year.
it looks like the whole motor business is going to be turned upside-down.
Das Elektroauto ist schon zum Scheitern verurteilt.l Nicht wahr?
in the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
i am not surprised that one on two funny transactions are going through as this is going to be a real bonanza when POLY4 starts rolling off the conveyer belt.
Remember 50 years of top dividends stretch ahead of us.
I feel that anyone 'putting' shares at the moment here, could be deliberately trying to reduce the price, maybe to buy a massive amount of cheap shares before launching a proposed bid for the company.
It is on the cards. This company is a real gift to buy.
As this company progresses, the shares should head to the £3.00 mark, based on future prospects.
So pile in, you future millionaires.
Public authorities are failing in their duty to the citizens of this country by not insisting that all public transport should be run by hydrogen only.
Talking about old polluting diesel cars and busses in city centres, that is a joke . No diesel vehicles should be allowed to operate in large cities like London.
They should have 'Park and Ride' with automatic transferral to hydrogen busses for entry to city centres. An EU directive should be issued and implemented to this affect. The JIVE project must be expanded.
Our lungs should be better treated, NOT POISONED !
The 'Can't pay take it away team' would have great trouble seizing these assets.
I miss the pert comments of Matt the Brave which brought a sparkle of life to discussions here.
it is very encouraging to log into the site to get the latest information. It has kept up with modern technology and although the price of the share has fallen due to stubborn ' Dismay ' and her gang of useless cronies, we can carry on regardless.
This reflects real, live Britain, which our useless politicians have forgotten about.
Their stupid egocentric careers are more important.
Put them down to the bottom of a mine to work for a few weeks SO THEY CAN GRASP REALITY.
i feel that the board is being too generous to itself. It should start considering quarterly dividends like Glaxo and occasionally announce a scrip dividend or return cash to shareholders.
This should be no problem to it, as it holds a large proportion of shares.
This should boost the share price again and protect the CEO from being fired.
Our government has 39 billion pounds to fritter away in a useless divorce settlement. Why not pump it into Avanti and keep it afloat instead !
That would be supporting British Industry and wide internet coverage instead of funding the careers of a useless continental bureaucracy which is taking advantage of us.
