It would be very stupid to sell IRC judging by the past record of the two companies. Funny, 4 or 5 years ago when the gold price tanked, iron prices rose and really helped to save the company. We seem to have short memories here. The thing that annoys me is the POX HUB. This seems to be a complete waste of money and never actually produces the goods. Maybe because it just handles low grade ore, wasting pounds to produce pennies. Other views welcomed on this subject.

Looking at the purchases over the last week, one can only say 'Fools and their money are easily parted.' We really need courses in the schools which provide a solid grounding in economics. By that, I mean' MODERN ECONOMICS' not the outdated rubbish taught in universities where the lecturers' notes are torn and brown with age.

The last time I was in this share, selling at �11, there was talk about 3 billionaires buying this company. Seemingly they chickened out and boy, what a mistake did they make! I just wonder if they are still interested. May somebody has some up-to-date info?

What the BOD has decided is ' What we have built, we can destroy!' A lot of new thinking is required here. We, as shareholders, are not in the 'death wish' business. No doubt this could be a snippet of a buy for IAG if the present management continues in office.

Seriously,you must really think that this share has a good chance of survival, based on the amount of effort you are putting into the intensity of the discussions over an exceptionally long period of time. i thought you would have given up on it a long time ago. it has survived against all odds! There must still be some hope left.

The 9 for 10 move seems to have backfired. As shareholders we were cheated by the management. Someone on the board deserves to get fired. Show your disapproval.

An interesting point made on other site is that Russia could insist that her oil and gas revenues should be collected using physical gold. Say 'good bye ' to the dollar. That should set the cat amongst the pigeons.

with production costs falling by nearly 50% due to the devaluation of the rouble, this share should be selling for at least £6.00. The efficiency of its management and the scale of production is not appreciated enough by the western world. Our doped- up market makers and stupid financial journalists have fallen asleep on this one. All praise to Mother Russia! Russia should be a great place not for attracting modern business innovators, particularly in the high tech field. Carpe diem.
