Not too concerned re the share price falling - I have just kept adding to my holding - passenger number good and I think this will play out in the results on the 24th - until then EZJ is subject to the vagaries of macro economic data which will pull the share down and up accordingly - minds will be focused though pre results and I expect an uptick on the share price prior to the 24th - lets see

Gengis - "what macro signs do you see" - German IFO reports on business sentiment yesterday - Sentiment has deteriorated at companies in Germany. The ifo Business Climate Index declined in June to 88.6 points, down from 89.3 points in May. This was due to more pessimistic expectations - as a result of this the DAX tanked over 1pct and is down again today - oil is up around 5pct in the last couple of weeks - although it shouldn't effect MCG as they are hedged it has proved to affect sentiment in the past - over the last week MCG is UP around 10pct - on that basis I am back in

MCG shown plenty of resistence in the last few days in terms of the macro and shorts reducing - back in again at 51.6p - 4th time lucky! - lets hope I have got it correct this time

Tom - re ITV falling from May to Nov - with respect you are not taking into account the macro economics here - June 23 inflation was at 7.9pct - as a consequence of this nobody wanted to spend on advertising - now inflation is at 2pct and interest rates will fall in due course which is a far better economic environment in terms of advertising spend - the share will see 80p before it sees 60p - lets see

ITV current MCAP 3.02B - ITV Studios worth 3b according to Citibank - MCAP will decrease as share buy back continues, therefore why would anyone sell now? - I know I won't be

Poker - fair point and I have been saying on this board for some time that MCG is and will be subject to the macro vagaries until/when some positive news filters through which is not for some time yet, so the shorts have free reign to do as they please in the meantime.

"I'm beginning to question the value of the assets minus the debt" - John - MCG is basically Alsa - the rest can be discounted until they have turned around -I think that is the way the market is looking at it right now - so whatever Alsa is worth minus debt is the MCAP imo

When you look at the full year results below and the breakdown of profit/loss - who would actually want to buy the American business when it is showing a 60pct loss year on year? - the only business making a profit is Alsa and that is the only reason the Cosmans still have skin in the game, in order to bock a low ball bid or purchase outright (if they can stump up the funds that is?) - the sale of the US business will hinge on a complete turnaround which will only be shown when MGC updates or if they release news to the market saying business has picked up - until then it will continue on the downward spiral according to the macro of the day and whatever pressure shorts can apply - all imho.

"What a d0g5h1t share this has become" - JG - I wouldn't fret too much matey - I have been adding all the way down here, currently down around 7pct, - not at all worried - capital seminar day on Thursday and results next month - algos and shorts can do what they want on no news but not on actual news - imho these shares will be bought back heavily prior to q3 results in July - shorts have already decreased in recent weeks- nobody wants to be short on good results and believe me and they will be good looking at passenger numbers of late -

Paddyboy - "Either some huge losses crystallised along the way or well timed entry & exits!"- ha ha - you need to check through my posts Paddy - made plenty here and documented each buy and sell - lost a minimal amount over the last 2 or 3 trades buy ins trying to catch the falling knife but hey no problem, I will always state when I make a loss unlike the majority of posters who will only tell you when they win - you can't win everytime my friend, - good luck chasing the bottom matey

Back out again this morning at break even - the share is just not responding to any macro positivity right now and with Wace increasing this is adding to my concerns here - other director buys may provide some respite but right now there are other UK stocks that are more stable and worthy of investing in - gla

Decided to take a small tranche at 49p on the back of the director buy in - not at all convinced it is the bottom but will look to add on further weakness - lets see how it plays out when the yanks open up
