Concur Mary - DLG was bid for at 237p was it was on its ass - changes afoot at DLG and for me 237p is the minimum value - any sign of a turnaround and the bid could well be revisited, any further falls and the bid may also be revisited imho - in either scenario the share price goes north - will add on further weakness

Hi Bax - no I don't trade apart from exceptional circumstances on volotile stocks with no divis like Ocado and these stocks make up only around 5pct of my portfolio - my portfolio is basically dividend stocks with growth potential and non dividend stocks with dividend/growth potential like RR. - I add to them on weakness, looking to double or triple bag over a few years before selling - I have been adding to MKS over the last 3 or 4 years and now stand at around 60pct profit - 330p short term ie within the next 1-2 months then over 350p by results in Nov -

KUMS - I think MKS will have done rather well from the England games - parties, gatherings etc - also the warm spell recently should augur well for their summer clothes offering - I always review MKS clothing section, especially womanswear and there is a lot of stock flying off the shelves atm, dresses in particular, - I am targeting 330p here and I think it is doable based on current trading, interest rates falling and inflation now under control - lets see

JET2 top end of analysts estimates this morning and a big increase in the divi - with interest rates set to fall pdq high paying divi stocks will imo come to the fore - should be a good day for EZJ - lets see

A good day at the EZJ office today - and justification for my top ups over the last few weeks - well done to all the lth's on here - momentum now with Airline stocks after the upgrade for IAG today - hopefully some good numbers from JET2 tomorrow and the momentum will continue - an extra g and t is in order before dinner tonight - have a good evening all

Just curious." - holiday potential Tawse - EZJ has plenty - Wizz air, as has been mentioned earlier on here, do not have the same potential - I actually know someone who is working for EZJ at a very high level, they have been in the industry over 30 years and really do know their stuff having worked for various airlines - the EZJ holiday offering is very very good and the potential for holiday revenue is off the scale from what they were telling me which is the major reason I have been adding to my holding as EZJ has been falling - EZJ now makes up over 10pct of my overall portfolio - gl dyor etc.

"Whenever has it been good with a particular party in power"?" - Depends really on how old you are Retec - I am an old git and have experienced severe hardship under Labour in the 70's when I used to live in Yorkshire - at that time the unions ran the country and Labour kowtowed to them which ended up bankrupting the UK and Labour going to the IMF, begging them for a bailout - I have also experienced an incredible turnaround when moving to London in the 80's when Maggie deregulated the stock exchange under big bang, exchange controls were lifted and the capital began its journey to world financial domination - I got involved in this and my life changed in terms of prosperity almost overnight - so Politics imo does actually matter, let's hope Labour have learned the lessons of the past this time

Agree PT and I am pleased I added at 449p a few days ago - I said in a post on here last week that minds will be concentrated re EZJ in the lead up to results - the share price looks ludicrous to me on fundimentals alone, and at the end of the day nobody wants to be short on good results so maybe a bit of profit taking then more uptick, today is definitely worthy of an extra g and t before dinner tonight for and Mrs C and I shall be partaking in this shortly.

"Unless its all Carrington's doings. - are you buying again Carrington , if you don't mind me asking" - Hi Gengis - retesting old lows - it is and will play out and I suspect it is shorts driven - at the end of the day they want to make as much as they can - not adding anymore yet, will see if the 46p handle is retested and look to add at that point - the same thing is going on with EZJ atm, another of my holdings - I have just kept adding on the retest level based on the fundamentals of the company - UK GDP figures came in higher than expected today so may hold 50p here by cop.

UK GDP beat estimates this morning - an encouraging sign in terms of advertising spend - companies look to advertise more when they see growth coming through - blue day here me thinks - follow the money
