Sold 70pct of my holding first thing this morning for a 20pct profit - not too shabby - ITV was always going to go south today with the studios having growth adjusted going forward and a backdrop of macro economic pain from the US - all UK shares marked down accordingly - will look to buy back my 70pct if the price here gets silly - lets see

What O Leary failed to mention though is that analysts estimates take into account like for like comparisons and the analysts estimates for Easyjet were beaten by some distance - didn't say that though did he - it sounds to me like Ryanair are losing market share to EZJ - I will add further if it falls

Poker - the litmus test will be with the unions - if they give in to pay rises then the UK is basically screwed - once the unions gets a sniff that there are gains to be made they will all be on strike, - that I am afraid is the beginning of the end and will end up as it did with the Labour Government in the 70's - a wage spiral and inflation again out of control - I will be watching very closely indeed - gl dyor etc.

Decided to add to my holding at 54.2p - MCG has shown stability of late and now trading within a range between 50 and 60 over the last month - interest rate cuts coming down the pipe and inflation now under control - margins should increase going forward as future wage increases to be low based on current inflation and vs excessive wage rises given previously - gla dyor etc

I have to say I have made better investment decisions than I have done adding here before the Microsoft outage and adding again before the Ryanair results, (I thought the drop in Ryanair had already been factored in as they had already braced the markets about this months ago!) Never mind lets see what happens on results day - EZJ atm heading towards the price they were when Wizz air bid for them! (that in itself is no reason to sell!) - personally I think the holiday element with EZJ will more than offset here on results day - lets see

Keep coming back to the same reason to buy/add here - nobody else in the world can replace what Ocado can offer - they are patented up to the eyeballs as Autostore found out to their cost, and therefore they cannot be replicated - so if you want it you have to buy it or hire it - taking on staff instead of using robots is going to be very costly indeed going forward as wage rises and staff benefits increase - Kroger et al realise this - I have added this morning - target 1000p

Market forward looking and I think will concentrate more on the gfk consumer confidence report out this morning saying consumers more optimistic re future purchasing - lets see

MKS own half Ocado retail so it will obviously tank on sentiment - good opportunity now for MKS to negotiate full buy out of Ocado retail - would suit Ocado as they are strapped for cash and once free of retail they could then rebrand as a tech only firm - would suit MKS if the price is right as they could then sell their food only and pay a minimum oversee fee to Ocado - makes sense - I wonder if it will happen? - thoughts guys

Really ? - so the share is trading now below what it was before the Aeon announcement - micro economic news has to be factored into broker research but in effect Bernstein are saying it does not have to be taken into account which does not stack up imo - I will be adding if it falls much further
