Poker - like I said in a previous post - the vast majority of public sector workers do a good job - but the pay rises have to be balanced - you can't pay money out if you are not getting the money in, that is simple economics - we are never going to agree on this so please just accept that

Added to my holding here this morning at 407p- for me the bond issue takes away the rights issue stick used to beat Ocado with - gives more stability and at the end of the day why would Ocado raise the funds if they didn't have upcoming work to facilitate in the pipeline - bond positions filled immediately tells me the holders are pretty confident in the future here, you don't spend big if you don't know what's coming down the pipe - will add more on weakness

Greed sets in and its hard to shake it." - the fundamentals of the company suggest to me that it is worth 100p OMalley - but at the end of the day it is never wrong to take a profit - timing is everything with shares, it is pretty easy to buy but can be extremely difficult to know when to sell - I will wait for 100p and add on weakness here as I have done previously - gl dyor etc

I used to work in the City for a Japanese Bank and started share investing/trading over 30 years ago - bought JDW when it floated at 165p - put all my money in 5k at the time and doubled it to 10k then did the same on other shares and almost lost it all - now I don't trade I invest and look to double or triple bag - sectorising to level out gains/losses - I agree with Jed here - not all shares ever reach the heights you expect due to micro/macro adverse economic activity and it is sometimes better to realise this than plough on in the belief that a higher price is available - my target here is 100p based on what I have invested and what I want in return - I think it is achievable but more than that is highly questionnable.

Poker - OBR forecast is Mar/Apr so hasn't even factored in the wage rises to the public sector announced a few days ago - so pretty much means nothing - not so sure "no growth is better than negative growth" - no growth means no investment, no reason to start an investment and no reason to invest in the UK - not a good signal to send out - I am willing to give Labour the benefit of doubt here, but the inititial signs to me is that they are reverting to type - plenty of money for the public sector and plenty of encouragement to their union friends and very little for the private sector to get excited about - lets hope I am wrong - gl dyor etc

Hypothetical Poker - of course the country would collapse if these things materialise as they would in any country but we have to deal with what is actually happening - no private sector investment = no growth = no money to pay for the wage rises to the public sector - that is a fact my friend

Poker - the problem with giving out wage rises that are higher than current inflation is that you send a positive message out to the Unions (I bet Mick Lynch at RMT has an extra spring in his step this morning!)- public sector workers on the whole do a great job but the fact is they don't create any wealth for the country, the private sector does - Labour need to concentrate on the private sector in order for the country to grow and attract business to the UK - Reeves talking the talk on growth but can she walk the walk - lets see

Decided to sell my entire holding this morning at 58.8p - I may well regret this but a 9pct profit was too good to miss and I am slightly concerned that the BOE rate decision tomorrow is not a done deal - I have a sneaky feeling they may hold which will reverse any rises today - time will tell - gla dyor etc.

Mary - are you leaving your position here over the weekend or what? - my thinking is Jansen has form with mergers and takeovers and is not a man to be mucked about - share price down since the rumour, peaking around 515p on Monday - a bid at a lower price looks more attractive, my gut tells me that this may well play out over the weekend and for that reason I am loath to sell
