Makes no difference as the denominations are in dollars so sterling rising against the dollar reduces the need to hedge and will ultimately increase margin - that is basic economics ffs - Dyor etc

I think sterling rising is helping the retailers atm Illbe - but agree shorts closing could fuel a rise - I have been saying on this site for months that some retailers are oversold - Next and Tesco results are proof of that - I have been adding MKS all the way down - there will and has been retail casualties but retailers going bust leaves more footfall for MKS to aim for - MKS will either recover, merge or be taken out, it is as simple as that - either way I am confident I will make a lot of money from this share going forward. gl dyor etc

You are entitled to your opinion Av - I am not a trader I am an investor so short term paper losses are irrelevant to me - I am looking 6 months to a year down the line and I will continue to add - time will tell who is correct - gl dyor etc

BT like many other UK based stocks are being hammered atm Ray - nobody wants to be in them, it is as simple as that - Brexit concerns have basically made UK stocks something to be avoided at all cost - I personally think the fears are overdone and UK stocks will come back - when, only time will tell - there are some great bargains right now imo and BT is one of them - I am just topping up in small amounts as it falls - be greedy when others are fearful - Buffet - gl dyor etc etc
