RE: Even Vogue are talking about Astons DBX5 Jul 2021 11:00
Thanks for some nice posts Tiny. And more importantly, thanks for reminding people that this is a 5 year turnaround. There seems to be increasing talk about what is happening in the next few days and weeks but this is of much less importance than what is happening over the next 5 years!! If the shares dip a little between now and Q2 results day, does it really matter? Think long term. 10 new cars by 2023, we've only had 1 so far. Of which there will be valkyrie, valhalla, vanquish, a total refresh of all sports cars and new variants of DBX. Then we've got massive investment being made into AM F1 with a new factory next year and we're seeing the standard of staff moving açcross from Red Bull. So I see our performance in F1 improving over time which can only be good from an advertising perspective. Even as we are now, we're still getting fantastic advertising açcross twenty odd countries with DBX and vantage f1 on display on the track! We've even got James Bond at the end of the year which is more free advertising! But remember, nothing is expected to improve overnight, we have to be patient. Car sales are on the up and that's without the new models. There must be lots of potential DBX buyers holding back and waiting for the new variants before placing an order so I would expect well see an increase there over the next year with the 2 new models. As for sports cars, we know the vantage F1 has been a success and we can expect similar spectacular upgrades across the rest of the range. Remember its long and strong everyone, but its a long road ahead and there are bound to be a few potholes along the way. As for that Karenabl article...I think its total rubbish written by someone who has something against AML or is shorting it. This is only what I honestly believe of course, which is why I'm invested...I may be wrong :-))
