AIM IP specialist Tekcapital to sell or float all four portfolio companies 'within 2 years'. Watch the full video here.
I'd never advise anyone to sell their house...I know you may be joking but never invest what you can't afford to lose however safe you may think it is. I've got a sizable investment in AML and I'm confident I'll do well, but if I lose it all my life won't change. I WOULD be very upset though lol.
Hi Chat. I wouldn't like to see another capital raise either but I can't see it. We've
got £575million cash, with more coming later in the year from valkyrie. Stroll has made it clear that H2 is going to see an upturn in revenue especially Q4 and with valkyrie costing a baseline figure of £3.4mn and all going through Q I think that upturn is going to be pretty substantial! As for refinancing our debt, I'm sure that once we get into consistent profit that will become possible.
With regards to Mercedes charges for the new technology, we are already purchasing their engines so we must be satisfied with those prices, and I am sure Stroll said at the time the merger was announced, that the prices would be fair (words to that effect). I am sure Mercedes wouldn't rip us off, after all they will be 20% share holders WEF early next year and it's in their interests for us to do well, that's why they are letting us advertise our cars by driving them round half the Grand Prix circuits!! Now stop worrying...IMO LTHs have nothing to fear. Enjoy the F1 this afternoon everyone :-))
So, Mansion now makes a reappearance with this rubbish about DBX sales slowing down! Clearly it will be quite the opposite and sales will increase when more DBX are seen on the open road, the rich crowd see their mates have one and want one for themselves. Then there's all the advertising that we've only just startedcto get from F1... millions of people seeing the advert during F1 intervals and the DBX medic car running round the circuit. Then of course we've got the new hybrid in Q3 and another variant early next year so don't talk rubbish anout sales slowing down...they will acccelerate, and I'm not even going to say IMO because anyone in their right mind can see that!!
I cannot believe the amount of negativity there's been on this BB today. All that is happening is the traders who thought they could make a quick killing on the results are now taking their money back out. The results today were absolutely solid and according to expectations and if you are disappointed then IMO your expectations were unrealistic. If you are truly a LTH, I dont know how you can be disappointed because we got everything we could have wanted today. Wholesales comfortably exceeded 1st quarter sales for 2018, 19 and 20 and DBX is once and for all confirmed its success so any doubters saying Q4 figures were fudged now have their answer...bearing in mind that Q1 is normally the weakest quarter. I think if you have listend to those results and you feel so negative, then IMO you really are in the wrong share and should be putting your money elsewhere. This is and always has been a long burner...Stroll himself has made that clear. If you can afford to leave your money invested for the next 4 years and you have the patience, I believe youll be rewarded handsomely. But if you're wanting to make money fast, I'm sure there are much better shares to trade on. All IMO of course.
Yes she's rising now as people get on board at the last minute. Tomorrow looks likely to be a good solid set of results which will set the tone for even better to come. Subsequent results will go from strength to strength with the intro of the mid engine cars headed up by valkyrie and we will of course get new variants of DBX and sports cars. Stroll loves to surprise us too, so there may be other good news for us tomorrow, for example another car...exciting times ahead! All IMO of course. Good luck to all LTHs :-))
This is an interesting read, explaining in more detail about the specials for sale at Newport Beach. It seems like the owner possibly has a 'special' arrangement with AML that allows him purchase 'specials' and he also appears to have a good relationship with Q, which each car passes through before it is presented for sale on his forecourt. Perhaps some of the other large American dealerships also have similar 'special' arrangements which would explain the anomaly that we have been trying to resolve. This is just a theory of course :-))
The attached shows that there are definitely still some cars for sale that weren't built to customer order, but maybe these are limited to America as mentioned by others. Perhaps this will get raised at the results or AGM.
OMG Nite, now you're talking my language. I agree with everything you've said. I expect the SP to easily go over £100 by 2025 when Stroll meets his medium term targets i.e. 10,000 car sales, £2 bn revenue, £500 mn EBTDA. But we all know by now that Stroll is conservative with his targets and aims to overdeliver so we may smash those targets. At some point, he MAY tell us what his long term targets are!!! As for the reason he doesn't issue statements between quarterly results...why should he? It's only frustrating to us because we are impatient and hungry for information, but to him it's an unnecessary waste of time and resources.
C26 may well be correct and it might be Adeem that have again sold more shares. A couple of months ago when their last non-executive director was asked to leave it was because their share holding had dropped to less than 7%. But 7% of 115 million is a heck of a lot of shares to sell. Multiply that by £20 and we are talking about £150m worth!! So it would be really interesting to establish what percentage they have left. Once they have finally sold, the shares can rise freely. Tiny...you seem to have Charlotte's ear- Do you think you could ask her if she can see what their current holding is? I hope you don't mind me asking, only I dont think we should have loads of different people bombarding her with questions. Cheers mate.
I topped up yesterday at 19.54. I suppose I should have waited but I had already decided that if it dropped back to 19.50ish I'd buy, so I'm happy. I dont think it makes much difference to be honest...in a few years we'll all look back at these prices and laugh at how cheap they were.
LOL C26. I do agree with you on quite a few things (especially when you're positive) wink. Here's a nice article on the vantage F1.
Dimi was wrong as often as he was right with his Elliott charts. I've always find charts quite interesting when people post them but wouldn't dream of acting on them. Top professionals get these wrong so I'd rather stick with the fundamentals and news personally. Nothing's changed for me, this is still a long term investment unless something drastic happens to change things. Obviously it all comes down to how well the cars sell but I think the signs are very good for the future as demonstrated by the standard of the first car released by Tobias Moars, the Vantage F1. I'm sure this will sell loads, particularly with the advertising it will receive from the F1 safety car. With 9 more cars due by the end of next year including 2 new DBX, PLUS valkyrie, sales will ramp up, but it's a progressive climb...people can't expect to make money overnight. Just my honest opinion of course.
I totally agree with you Doit, the SP is solid at £19/20 and just waiting for more news to push it forward. The first car released under Moers, the vantage F1 is certain to get good sales with all the advertising it'll get from the safety car so once those start feeding through, probably in Q2 results, that will help. Definitely a good sign of things to come with all the other refreshes under Moers. Later in the year things will really start to pick up and all the nutters will be history :-))
Here's something I spotted earlier. This shows that the younger trendier folk are attracted to DBX which is exactly what is needed. A young, attractive, female Olympic skier...a bit more positive advertising for us. The more people like her that are seen driving around in a DBX and the more we're gonna sell. Say hello to Englangder for me Doit. He's needed back on here to liven things up a bit.
Tesla have been unbelievably successful but are fast approaching the end of the road as other manufacturers start to catch up with EV. AML on the other hand are still at the very beginning of a long climbing road which will see them make steady and progressive gains over the next few years. This has been said many times, you cannot expect this Company to be miraculously turned around overnight. Stroll's medium term business plan is 10,000 car sales per annum producing 2 billion turnover per annum by 2025. I believe everything he is doing is positioning the Company to achieve his plan.
