Considering the poor performance of our SP, it's interesting to see that the Ghana SP hasn't dropped and remains at 6.00. This is at a 50% premium to it's introduction price several months ago. Perhaps Ghanaians understand that the shannanigans of the parliament are just normal for them. They certainly mustn't be concerned, otherwise their SP would have dropped.

Let's hope markets have bottomed and are on the rebound. The last thing we need is another global bear market to add to our woes. NH needs to get together with MIIF to assert whatever pressure they can on parliament to get this ratified. I am disappointed that we haven't at least received an RNS providing us with an official update from the BODs. They are very quick to inform us of all the conferences they attend which don't really mean diddly squat to us. Come on NH, man up, walk the walk, and provide your loyal SHs with an accurate update, warts and all...its the least we deserve! Having got that off my chest, I do remain positive on the long term outcome. GLALTHs

Not a great start for the SP today. This is how markets react when the chairman over promises and under delivers. What everyone should focus on is the fact that nothing has changed long term...just a few weeks delay. Whether ratification happened last week, in September, or October, doesn't alter the long term outcome. GLA

Totally agree swest and ecobbledore. We are 2 years away from production so what difference does a few weeks make to LTHs. The important thing is the SP in 2 to 3 years. We just have to stay calm and patient and wait for the inevitable ratification to take place. NH does need to stop making promises about hings he can't control though. Surely a man of his experience knows that he should under promise and over deliver. The market is punishing us for not delivering!

Didn't one of you say that parliament stated it was being discussed by the committee today?

On 18th July hereandnow said he was hearing that the sitting was extended. I skedxwhere he got his info from but he still hasn't answered. This makes me think that he must have been ramping rather than making a statement of fact...I hope I'm wrong. Does anyone on here have any factual information about an extension? I have tried searching but can find nothing.

I don't understand the Ghanaian ratification process. However from what I saw of the debate yesterday, there definitely wasn't any vote. It was simply decided that it should go to a committee. What happens after that was unclear but surely it will have to go back to parliament to be ratified? As I say, I don't know, it just seems common sense that's all, though we are talking about Ghana 🤔. The deadline of 22/07 is the last day parliament sits. After that it's October.

According to Google, Parliament sits Tuesday to Friday, so maybe there will be sufficient numbers today.

The SP on the GSE was unchanged yesterday at 6 cedi. This is 30p in our money. The value has increased 50% In Ghana over the last few weeks.

Very sad but definitely not a reason to sell. Even when the CEO Vincent Mascolo died 2 years ago, the SP rebounded very quickly following a small drop following his death. If anything, sad though it is, I would say this is an excellent buying opportunity for anyone wanting to add to their holding. My condolences to family, friends and colleagues of the deceased.

13,503 shares bought on GSE today...up 7.58%.

We were top performing share in Ghana yesterday, increasing 4.32%. However, don't get too excited as only 4700 shares were sold lol. What it does demonstrate is that it takes very little to move the SP in Ghana so we should see a big gain if funds buy in after ratification. GLA

I agree Mike. It is now 9 months since we obtained the licence, yer we still await ratification fron the Ghanaian government. I can't believe how slow they are. They desperately need more income and more jobs for their people, but they drag their feet. It's not difficult to see why they are a poor country. Come on Ghana...get your act together!

Followibg the last forum in February, we were led to believe the people and chiefs were all in favour of the mine. It seems strange that they are now angry and frustrated 🤔

According to latest results, they have S71.4m. They have recruited a financial advisor to consider options for raising the capital required for Ewoyaa in order to minimise dilution for its shareholders. I can't attach a copy of the results but if you go onto their website you'll be able to find them.

In one interview I saw, it was mentioned that if there was a big enough discovery at the Senya Baraku site, they could have a second mine there.

4 times more shares bought than sold today, and the MIIF CEO takes a seat on the Board. So what happens... the SP drops!? I hate to think what would happen if we got some bad news :-(
