I agree TinyPie. Picciotto has bought another 25,000 shares today at £13.99. I'm not having it that he would buy again today without knowing the reason for Gregors resignation. And if he does know, then the reason clearly is not due to the company failing. We're never going to know the real reason, all we can do is speculate. Looking at Gregor next to his colleagues on the video the other day, I actually thought how he seemed to stand out from the others personality wise. They all seem very hard nosed businessmen who wouln't take any sh_t off anyone whereas he seems more like someone you would expect to meet behind a desk at your local bank. My guess is that he didn't fit in with Stroll and Moers management style. He's probably not been happy in his job for 18 months and has simply had enough. We all knew about Moers reputation before he arrived...its very unpleasant if you don't get on with your boss regardless of your pay grade. That's my guess at what has forced him out but I may be a million miles off.

Yes C26, I did know that Amedeo is a 'he'. I obviously slipped into typing 'she' by mistake after typing the name Felisa...easily done. Anyway, we digress, the point is that directors continue to buy contrary to the direction of the SP. There's only one reason why they would do this, and that is because they know how the company is performing and expect the shares to rise in the future. As for Felisa buying at £19...he's just like the rest of us...nobody can guess the bottom exactly right unless they are extremely lucky. I'm sure he won't regret his earlier purchases because he knows what direction the company is heading and therefore knows he will make money in the future.

Michael de Picciotto makes his 5th purchase this year, buying another 2500shares now giving him a total of 567,754 shares!
Amedeo Felisa ex Ferrai CEO makes her 2nd purchase this year albeit only small at 1000 shares.
Anyone doubting their grasp of how the company is performing should bear in mind that Felisa was CEO of ferrari for 8 years and Michael is a top business man specialising in finance (biography attached)

Hi RoxhuryHouse. I dont think I had started posting when you were last on the BB but I was certainly reading all your posts and learning a lot from them at the time. Your dilution charts are excellant and I'm sure lots of members will find them really informative. I remember how you always helped to control some of more outrageous behaviour on the BB and you may find that you are kept quite busy again!! lol...welcome back :-))

C26, it's cash payable for the difference between £12.80 and the SP. So if the SP has dropped to 12.00, they will receive the shares they are owed, plus 80p for each share. Here Is Stroll's answer to a question from Citi during the 2020 Q3 results:

"Angus (Citi)...I believe you can talk about the mercedes agreement and how we should think about it. Is the correct way to think about it as a kind of equity finance CAPEX? And perhaps you could specifically discuss what happens if the share price continues to trade below the entry price and how you calculate the value of the technology that is being given and any further cash top-up that'd be paid? Thank you

Lawrence Stroll: I'll start with the last one. We think and know the technology given is of a value that if we had sourced on our own would have been considerably greater expense. The second question was Yes, if the share price is below 60 - I believe it is c.62p - that we would have to pay the difference between 62p and anything below that. We are obviosly quite confident we will not see the share price, but instead well above the 62p mark. So, we're quite confident that's a none issue for us."

I think the reason for the drop is most of the small holders have lost interest and sold up. They expected a quick win which they got to some extent if they got in and out at the right time . However, the share could only gain so much without the company actually making profits, and when it platead people started to jump ship and the share has just drifted down. I've always said people need to be patient, the real gains will come after all the new cars have been launched and the debt eventually refinanced. It's still a long bumpy road ahead and we're definitely on a bumpy stretch right now. My view is obviously different to yours...I still believe the company is on track and we will be rewarded in the future.

C26, when the SP hovered around 50p for weeks on end there was a lot of suspicion that Stroll was holding the SP down for some reason. One of the posters emailed AML and asked if this was the case and why. The reply which came from Charlotte was that the opposite was the case...Stroll was supporting the SP which was under attack from shorters. You remember this, but I am explaining it for the benefit of others who may not have been on the BB at that time. The reason he supported the SP was because he was obviously in negotiations with Mercedes at the time as the agreement was announced shortly after. The reason he will support the share again if we get near to £12.80, is so that we don't have to pay mercedes. Also, 12 months ago he said the SP would be well above that amount when the 2nd traunch of shares go to mercedes...he won't want to be proved wrong! I dont know his methods for supporting the price, maybe he just gets a few of his rich mates to make some large purchases...who knows. Why didnt he support at 17/16/15....why should he? At this stage he probably wouldnt be that bothered about the SP if it werent for the mercedes deal. He will become concerned as we get close to £12.80. This is all IMO of course.

If the share drops below £12.80 (which I think is unlikely) we do NOT have to pay mercedes £143m. We would have to pay the difference between the share price and £12.80 for each share going to mercedes, which would be a small percentage of £143m. I am sure it wont come to this. We all know the cause of today's drop and the markets will probably bounce next week. If shorters persist in pushing the SP down, I expect Stroll will step in and support the SP as he did for a long time when the SP wás 50p...he will not want the share dropping to £12.80.

C26, you have been asked a number of times whether you hold AML shares and choose not to answer, which is of course your right to do so. However, in May this year when I asked you whether you held AML shares or were shorting, you gave me the following answer dated 15th May "I have been honest all along Carpy, I am a shareholder who holds a core amount and trades on top of that.
There is no borrowable stock for AML, so only hedge funds and the big boys can short (and most of that is hedging their long positions imho).
I don't short any single stock, only indices/commodities where no-one gets hurt, except myself if it goes wrong ;)"
I think it would be reasonable for you to now say whether you still maintain the same strategy on AML as you did back in May. Nobody expects you to disclose how many shares you hold.

Yes, the shares have gone down since Picciotto bought at £19 but that doesn't change the fact that he knows that the company is doing well as do the other directors. They are buying because they expect significant gains in the future and won't be worried about a short term decline in price. They obviously know the plan is on track. Directors would be selling if there were problems, not buying.

Agreed Doyezee. I'm sure the directors know more about the prospects of the company than any of the posters on this BB. They wouldn't be throwing their money away if they thought the company was going down the pan. People really need to think about that before taking any notice of some of the garbage that gets regurgitated over and over again by C26.

That's purchases by 3 different directors this month! The SP may be dropping but the directors obviously remain confident in the future of the Company.

Agreed Andre, nothing has fundamentally changed since the start of the year except people have become impatient. They were expecting a quick buck which hasn't materialised so they've moved on. But you hit the nail on the head...quick gains were never part of the plan. Stroll and Moers have always said it will be 2023 before we become cash positive and their MEDIUM term plan is 2025...they haven't deviated from that. Gregory recently stated that he expects we will probably refinance the debt in 2023 which will save a fortune in interest. We also get all the sports cars refreshed the same year which Moers has told us to expect MORE THAN JUST A REFRESH. So I think it's totally reasonable that we could get back to pre-pandemic levels for sport car sales (4000 pa). Add those to the increased DBX sales from new varients, income from valkyrie and interest savings and the Company will be in a totally different place to where we are now. OK, we've admittedly got the court case to get over...that is the only negative I can see at the moment, and as we don't have a crystal ball, we've just got to trust in Stroll. Next year, I think our revenue will progress reasonably strongly mainly due to valkyrie but I believe 2023 is when we will see most progress and the SP will start to motor ahead. In the meantime we need to hold our nerve and remain patient.

Thanks for the excellent post Richard. There has been so much negativity on this BB lately, some people need reminding of how much has been done so far and of everything that is yet to come. By the time all the new cars and facelifts are finished, this Company will bear no resemblance to the one that Stroll took on just 18 months ago. I believe Stroll will smash his 2025 targets and those who are patient enough to wait will do well.
