well I am sure this isnt her first job and that she has changed jobs before? If they can recover HUR SP or sell onto another company for multiples of current SP it will not do her CV any bad.

things have changed but that is the point...obviously the power behind the company felt it needed to. although the SP was just starting to recover you can see their point. lets be honest the market reaction tells you that Trices stock had gone down...how much would the drop had been if he had left last year - much more than 8% or whatever it is

who knows where the SP will end up? i agree with longwait there is nothing to say it cant reach 60p again.

well that is only 2 companies..besides unless they are going to stop oil production totally it won't matter where they got the oil from.

draft - i dont think the second well will be turned on.

However well 6 did flow 16500 naturally so would expect a gradual and careful increase towards that figure. With the lockdown seemingly over in many respects the esp should hopefully be commissioned soon and then we can see how high it can go.

i am hoping the new board will have more regular updates

john.. hur have cash in bank so no need for fund raise for current operations - and board have already said they are going to increase production and expenditure to a minimum.

company wont be sold at this price..wont be the billions we dreamed of but should be multiples of this.

Trice doesn't hold that many shares. He is still on board for 6 months - I wouldnt be surprised if a sell off deal is in the offing by then.

looks like the new board are more used to running oil production companies or getting them acquired. trice was clearly a great geologist but i think he was probably lacking in other areas.

this looks like a big for sale sign has been put up.

Project.. Not sure that it is not time to buy. Anyone making an offer now would be able to get it lot cheaper. Don't forget oil has been produced and they would be getting halifax license too..

I would not be surprised if kerogem start adding to their stake. It looks like they might be having a more active roll.. I would suspect They are going to look to sell - in which case good time to up their stake

awk - sorry to see you go as well. your input will be missed. However I do understand as I got involved in HUR because of Trice too. I doubt I will be still involved after his 6 months are up - unless a serious turn around. However I do think the price will go higher than today and we may well be sold on by then anyway.

the market usually over reacts on bad news - especially with HUR.

I think the fact that we are only 10% down shows that the market doesn't think it is too bad. We will probably end up slightly down at the end of the day, tread water for a bit and then be on the way back up. we are producing 12000 and oil is at a decent price.

new experienced board..whilst it the end of an era and a great story...... it is the beginning of a new chapter. initial shock is wearing off

pirate. I agree it wont be the same without trice. but in all honesty that could be a very good thing.

there are others who can work this well now. He might have been a FB genius but he couldnt run a business. the share price drop from 60p showed that .This in my opinion will be sold on to the big boys - not for as much as evreyone dreamed of..

mcb55 - good post. I agree. you could have made 25% recently on BP without as much risk as hur. or look at Aston martin. there are a lot of opportunities at the current time. And some might be quicker to recover than hur.

awk - i have seen reference to people being paid as pro rampers/derampers on these boards before . Always seemed a bit far fetched to me - but what do I know? i certainly think there are herds - maybe in the twitter groups etc - who focus on shares when ready to move. and then move on to the next share etc.

having been a long term sufferer in hur - i am not going to complain about a bit of ramping - makes a change to those who have been continually trying to hit the sp for a long time now. Any potential new investors need to do their research and weigh up their own risk v reward. i am long and i am trading . i think i can make money from both on HUR

i am sure when hur gets to trading in a stable range the excitement will go.

Mazik - I think pelham is too small a short for that. I am also sure that when we do rise there will be companies who think that the rise is not warranted and therefore other short opportunities will be opened.

what is the true value? If the progress to FFD and start on Halifax - it could be billions. which is why I initially got involved. we may be a year further away on that than we were due to oil price / covid / well issues / giant squid

I think it is currently undervalued by the market at the moment. as the drop since December has been way overdone. However possibly it was overvalued on sentiment before. A value half way between the two would do me fine .

awk - i am no oilie..though hur has been a learning curve on a lot of things.

I read somewhere that interference is a sign of a big reservoir...don't know if any truth but would be nice

dive centre - good post. I must admit I too was disappointed with the lack of progress on data collection - but I put it down to the water cut issues having messed things up a bit.

my interpretation of that RNS was that both wells can't run well together. so that means if you are going to run one then it has to be the more productive one. that's well 6. we know that it flowed 16500 naturally . I think he will try to get it up to that figure - obviously mindful that they cant really afford a mess up so carefully is the word. I hope that then they will commission the esp and then who knows what we might produce...might be as much as we can currently handle, in which case well 7 can be left until a later date if/ when needed or a when the macroeconomics are better.

great day. i always said i thought it would be heading to 9p in the next week or so..what shocked me was the speed at which it went through 8p first time round today. it didnt have the legs to stay in 9p and so the inevitable fall back.

be very interesting to see the movement tomorrow. i had two trading stakes that i cashed in today and if it drops tmrw i will buy back in for another trad(s) ...the long hold pot has a long way to go to get back to break even so just sits there.

no if true....Karma. ..he either wanted to drive the price down or he is not quite all there - which might explain the decision to sell at 7p. he could have sold higher on day of bad rns or wait it out for today.

lesson to learn if you are in a stock dont help drive the price down..

this more or less halved from 12p.... I think given production and oil price we should be in at least 9p territory....so i think the general trend will be up in the next week provided oil price and giant squid behaves

lochlee lad - i am pretty sure there are a lot of traders that will gladly take a profit so they are pretty happy.

i trade and hold long term....so just happy to see a bit of upward traction which is long overdue

well the price oscillated between 6.5-7p all last week. so the big dump was pretty well taken up.

I dont understand people selling up at 7p when you could have got higher on the day of the bad RNS. Within another couple of weeks unless the squid swallows AM the price is going to be higher.....
