thinkin - tbh the company communications always seem to have a negative effect on the SP - so whilst frustrating i prefer nothing to the usual negative spin on waiting /talking etc.

the danger is being out and a humdinger of an approval drops - which by murphy's law would be my luck.

i agree that i believe they know no more than we do on how long approval will take to be granted - fingers crossed that it will...and very very soon

if they can finalise talks and secure the gov contract then i believe we will get an instant rerate. on the other hand if the next rns is approval there could be a chance to buy back in assuming a spike on news and then a fall back before any orders are announced.

The suggestion is that because they haven't said anything, something must be happening. Surely it is more logical to suggest they haven't said anything because there is nothing to say ?

until Colin decides to finalise talks with respect to gov contract - or approvals come through - i don't think there will be any meaningful news.

I think the problem is that they shot themselves a number of times - negative rns on gov contract/ tesla etc etc. their lack of understanding of market mechanics caused a huge drop in SP. they then at times tried to tweet themselves out of the self imposed negative sentiment. Which has not worked either. nobody trusts their communications - not that we get many now

ODX should never have tried to be clever with the SP - just concentrate on getting orders. They have been talking to an approved company introduced by the gov for many months now. Sure they are probably being asked to provide tests at a price less than they want. however they have to be realistic - the gov contract is their best chance of income.

pumpky - it is easier for some to try and blame posters rather than the company and stewardship. If colin could have got it together and sold a test there would not be any negative posts.

I am not sure that is true. These companies will try to charge as much as they can regardless of demand - and at the same try to source the cheapest tests possible. this will be chinese tests if they are allowed.

ODX really need to get that gov contract secured. selling privately will depend on a good sales team and a cheap product. i am not convinced of odx competing on either front

personally i can't see anybody buying ODX unless they could capitalise on the potential gov contract. Market capital of £92m is high considering that colin has not sold a test yet. what exactly would you be buying at that price? no definite contracts and no sales team with a track record. no real reputation

If you want a manufacturing business for LFT it would be a lot cheaper to start from scratch - we know the gov equipment was worth £17m or something like that.

buying mologic was buying the brains. the manufacturing part is surely a lot easier to set up.

Colin needs to get that gov contract in motion - establish reputation and generate income . then possibly it is attractive proposition

We were told that talks had been initiated back in June/July- the more time goes on the more likely colin is to mess it up.

However that was never my intention - the plan was to load up and cash in on the gov contract. leave some residue profit and get the original capital involved in something else.

I never in a million years envisaged that colin would find it so difficult to sell a test in a pandemic. Mind you his directors who know him best did not trust in him and sold as soon as they could - note to self - if directors sell take note and exit , do not try and justify their sales
