computer - i agree that any transformation will be covid related. I will go further it will probably have to be the gov contract. If i were colin i would be pestering them to get it over the line. Need a proper salesman on the job

ultra - good point on the flu v cold. As a child flu was a humdinger and laid you out. proper man flu. A cold you just got on with it. i think these days i seem to get something between the both ...

i agree on personal responsibility - but it is a lost cause in UK. how many invaded your space at the height of lockdown. how many will test posituve for covid and still be out and about? trying to earn?

jubbly - it is a tricky one with the other portfolio. on the face of it they are good products but will they be earners? food intolerance in china could be good as they change to a more western diet and the resulting health issues. however the chinese will buy a few tests and reverse engineer. they will then produce and sell much cheaper. I think it is a test that would possibly be better sold here among the islington elites at a premium

HIV tests could be an earner in the west - i think an accurate self test for that to the public would be a seller. however they have decided their transformational market is Africa. Who will pay for it and will it end up as more of a charitable project or a smaller professional service.

As always with ODX it is no point having great tests if you don't get it out there and transform into sales

The company have advised several times that they do not need to raise cash. Whilst I am a big critic of much of Colin's seeming in(action) I do not see him as a liar or deceitful. A mumbling bumbler possibly out of his depth yes but not sinister

Many of the staff were agency and despite the supposition of some - the car park pictures never look that dull to me. I suspect the staff may have been cut down to only what is necessary. the cassetting and pouching would have surely covered overheads even if not a huge profit.

I have to agree with Harvey - you can not take an anon poster on a BB claiming he is an ex director as 100% true unless verified.

actually i have a confession - I am colin king's brother. I was encouraged to buy by "bullet" as we call him in the family prior to the gov contract. However I know how quick bullet can be and realised he may have sold me a dud as he knew directors were selling.

I can't see if they just have approval for pro use. The key to LFT is self test in my opinion. ODX should have gone for self test approval straight away.
ODX need to get that uk gov contract. Colin should be pestering them

I am not sure that is true as from what i heard when the MMs have to satisfy a big trade one way or the other they keep it fairly tight to what the order is.

personally i have seen too many shares destroyed by shorters. i totally disagree with the morals of it. by the time a short squeeze comes the little guy has lost heart or jumped out of the window. It is there for the big boys to cover themselves or make more money

for the record i have never seen any shorts on ODX on FCA list of daily lists of notifiable shorts

sneaky - i think some of the antibody tests come with a colour chart - the deeper the colour the longer the antibody cover. Not sure if that applies to ABC test?

harvey - i struggled with the idea of the vaccine as i thought it was too quick with not enough long term data of any possible effects. However i was also worried about getting covid and one of my hobbies needs a vax passport and also i want to travel.

i took the AZ jab - as i was more worried about mRNA vaccines. I am annoyed that there is no option to stick with vector based vax. I do wonder if i would not be better getting a mild dose of covid and having natural antibodies- though there are no guarantees.

they prob think they might as well just boost. I also think that they are struggling to sell the booster and so prob dont want to add any other factors into the equation

i had a very high hopes for the antibody test - and personally would prefer to see if i have anti bodies rather than receive another jab. Maybe odx should try and market it with DAM as another service ?

it is amazing how many people on here quote me as saying stuff i never have - if it is a genuine mistake fine. but the cynic in me does wonder if at times if it is not malevolent?

i very much doubt current SP is supported by non covid portfolio. the sales so far would not back this up.

personally i think the company depends on the gov contract. get this and there will be a re-rate. it has taken an eternity for something that looked a slam dunk back in march. And the company would seem to have not done themselves any favours with talking for far too long. i still think they will eventually get it over the line this is why i still hold.

EU sales of self test maybe. if the price is competitive and they can get the sales team to do something
USA pro test I am not convinced on - it is a pity they did not go for self test sooner - as it will be more delays and waiting

kate - you really are trawling through my history. seems a bit obsessive.

as i said i dont want to talk about other shares on odx..but i will bite I was involved in HUR from around 2016 as was an amazing story. if you look at the charts it did go under 1p around may 2020 - so i was correct .

they changed the bod after a number of court cases as it would have gone down to 0.2p with the transfer of ownership they were planning. so it ended up much better for shareholders.

i have to say the hur board was a lot less toxic than this one - even though it dropped from 60p to less than a penny.

If you remember i had around 100,000 shares at that time so from the drop from £1 to 51p was about £50k paper loss due to director sales /TESLA tweet and poor comms. I then topped up with another 50,000 to average down. the shares are held in two ISAS, sipp and a trading account so diffeent tranches are in various degrees of loss.
tbh you and a couple of others won't believe anything i say. which is fine. i don't have a problem with that
so i am not going to waste any more time explaining my portfolio anymore.
in reality anyone who invested in the last 12 months is down - prob quite a few at 50%.

yep...sounds about right - As i was in a nice bit of profit at a £1 - psychologically feels like I lost more even though i know you should not count paper profits.

luckily i don't need to cash out presently. I know there will be those who say "but you haven't lost anything". however that sort of loss being sustained over 8 months is painful. explains my posts - rather than the troll/paid by some mysterious syndicate theory that appears daily

so yes being down that sort of amount does make me feel sad..actually frustrated and angry is probably more accurate. if an anon poster on a BB insults me - i just laugh it off. really? you think i am going to be bothered by that?!?!?!!
