i would guess agreement signed on friday and rns followed first thing monday morning...wasn't there a big buy on thurs? so possibly somebody had a sniff it was imminent.

the issue is that it just confirms the lack of thinking ahead that has been consistent with Colin "can't sell a test in uk cos i am too slow all the time". NCYT have their main test approved for sale - shows a much more professional outfit. Colin seems to stumble along not appreciating how long these approvals take. which is why we are always late to the covid party

i suspect the partnership had to be rns on monday. however could have used the opportunity to forewarn of nov 1st regulation. At the very least Today's should have been released yesterday either at 7am or later in the day as damage limitation.
colin quite happy to see SP take a hammering all day yesterday and again this morning - means we dropped more than the other two companies yesterday. unbelievable. As i have said for months colin has no appreciation of market mechanics - which is why he won;t get institutional investors involved unless he ups his game.

i think not being able to sell a test in the uk legally is RNS material - so should have been released yesterday. or maybe the problem is that colin does not think it is a problem?

judging by your comments yesterday - it is no wonder the nhs/gov can't handle the whole testing saga properly.

ummm. one does has to wonder if a ceo can be that incompetent

so colin " cant sell a test in the uk during a pandemic and shortage" or otherwise known as colin "sold a handful of tests in spain during the pandemic" seems to have shown his snail like speed again which has undermined odx the whole year.

could have released this on monday or yesterday but as usual - late/delayed again. but hey any positive sentiment quickly evaporates

ODX are not selling tests to individuals in uk yet.
they are providing a professional test for DAM to use in their inclinic service. So this list in this morning avct rns has no bearing on us.

however as usual ODX will probnably end up with the biggest SP drop - FFS

kate - i have never tried to talk down the SP - all along have just been a disgruntled holder who is unhappy with colin. I am sure i am not alone in that

kate - whether you are in/out or trade is of no interest to me. Just seemed a bit hypocritical accusing people of trading if you are exiting or planning to.
for the record i haven't traded odx - i wish i had. I am holding for the gov contract and then will evaluate depending on how i see the future.

people will buy if they think there is value. odx had value back in the early days of the contract speculation / award. i still maintain odx did more themselves to self destruct the SP than anybody else. if people don't see value it is purely because of the stewardship. hopefully today is the first day of the new phase

shares are meant to be traded - i thought kate you were going to exit at 55p? so what you are saying is that you are upset you didn't get your exit price?

the key is the company needs to be something people want to be in on long term. and the price will rise
today was a good start but not enough to compensate for months of anguish

agreed tec that the first one is hardest - any potentials now will take confidence from the fact others are already using it.

firstly the market is a it iffy at the moment in my view - always a risk if news comes out when the market is jittery as you will get less of a reaction than on a more positive day

not a huge contract in terms of income - so was never going to spike severely. Also a lot will sell out / trade due to months of frustration

however i think this is a big step for odx - first order and starts the professional test roll out. it is a good psychological boost and hopefully one they will quickly capitalise on
they still need the gov contract and the fact that rns mentions that the decision rests with DHSC is much better than previously when it seemed that progress was dependent on talks between colin and company. suggests that this stage has been completed.
whilst the dhsc might still take time - the fact that there was no agreement between colin "sold my first test" and other party would surely hold that up further?

ODX sales team is next to useless in my opinion - judging by big launch 6 months ago and lack of sales on existing portfolio
so anyone else involved is an improvement in my view

agreed twatcher - the good thing about todays rns is that the first order is always the most difficult. ODX are now selling their test and can use this as a reference point.
if they can get the gov contract over the line then that will really motor the SP.

yes....we need a lot more sales - but it is a start. a much happier swag this morning.

lets hope the gov contract is sorted next..then approvals and swag will be smiling from ear to ear

what pleased me the most was the waiting for dhsc comment - does that mean talks have concluded from colin's end?
previous notifications suggested this was the hold up

I guess they know that another wishy washy - soon/imminent/optimistic/ confident communication is not going to go down well. I just hope they are using the time waiting productively and not waiting for the ink before they start the "selling"
