trader - some good points. Though are Innova listed?

NCYT are down probably because of dispute with gov over payments for supplied tests
Avct/abx - I do not want to comment on them as i would not invest in them. They do however seem a lot better at communicating and PR spin.

Have any of the other companies had a gov contract and knowing how unreliable the gov are - spent months talking rather than just collecting some cash? Do they shoot themselves i the foot at every communication whether it be RNS or tweet?

SP has dropped 16% in 5 days.....almost 60% since the £1 it was when potential contract announced. Meanwhile Colin fiddles.

ODX should have been a much safer bet than it has become in the last 8 months- how may other companies have a potential gov contract and not cashed in on it? Colin takes months talking whilst others are selling.

he has to give an update around end of November. He is not doing it through choice. If there isn't an approval by then i doubt he will be able to bumble and mumble his way out of it. He will have to go

the question is why can other companies seem to get approvals and not ODX? odx always seem to be late to the application party even though they seem to have had the product available before anyone else.....and it is gold star rated

by the time they do apply there are always lots more competition - chinese stuff - and then yes there are serious delays. ODX should have been on the CDTA list this week - negligence is the word that comes to mind

it is only that the pandemic seems no sign of going away quickly that surely keeps colin in a job

those that don't like to hear criticism of colin "cant sell a test in uk during a pandemic and shortage" don't realise that encouraging others to sell is going to harm the SP even more - FFS

dsaf - on the other hand one could argue that blindly supporting colin is not reading the situation of the last year correctly and burying your head in the sand. how many more gaffs does he have to make before you see that he is more than likely out of his depth? he seems a nice enough guy but i am sure the captain of the titanic was as well

I invested in the company....their portfolio...their potential government contract. colin can't sell himself or the company.

Atan - not sure I agree with you on Colin not to blame. The gov contract was awarded and it seems a long time has been held up by talks between Colin and third party. If he had any awareness of his crap sales team he should have been really pushing this along.

All the applications for approvals seem to be much later than they should have been..even now us is only for pro use so there will no doubt be more delays when after achieving this we will be told the jam is self test in USA...surely everyone knows that already ?

I don't blame the rampers..they believe in the stock and try to promote it...I suspect they try to do their bit to raise the SP.

The blame lies with calamity...if this a deal that odx can only supply dam - then I hope it still leaves odx free to try other countries that dam are not in...eg any where other than Spain and Mexico..

i do see your point on desperate - tbh with nothing since the big launch (beginning of may?) i suspect it may have been a bit. as i have said all along the odx sales team is really not up to the job.. however the pro use is never going to be the big money earner. LFT is really about self test and if dam can sell some of those when approvals come through that will be a good start.

transformation will come through with gov contract. if odx get this cash they can hopefully look to improve their portfolio

harvey - being a self confessed bit of a londoncentric - tbh i just looked at london locations. these look good to me and pretty spread out so within easy reach of a lot of punters

fulham/clapham/mayfair/shoreditch/ cannon st are also top locations - and as long as shop front is decent - which i assume it will be as new should not pose a problem.

harvey - dam have 3.5 on trust pilot with over 5000 reviews. the best competitor i found was 4.8 but that was with 500. It does seem that their customer service isn't the best however in reality they are in great locations with ads on overground etc and will get footfall.
hopefully their improvement in choice of test indicates a change in strategy. i suspect a lot of businesses just tried to "get out there and grab the cash" - lets hope dam are looking at long term strategy and quality.

the reality is that at least the odx pro use test is out there. i still believe any transformation will be from gov contract.

quaytec - i fear you may be right. i suspect any uk test in the last year would have been better than the chinese stuff imported. uk companies have to jump through hoops as opposed the the chinese stuff where a brown envelope would seem to suffice. absolutely disgusting.

as already mentioned the buy/sell descriptor is based on mid price - so not accurate. just another market mechanism to screw over the little guy. we can put a man on the moon but not accurately state whether a buy or sell.
the only thing that matters is how the sp reacts - currently down for 2 days after negligible rise on monday.thanks to our calamity

dam will just want product sold - they are a proper sales company. so are they going to stock their storage space with unavailable tests?
i am sure they will stock and use odx in spain - so the initial order should not be a problem. howevber we need regular sales

harvey - agree that the rns on monday could have addressed the whole thing. reducing any negative sentiment from delay/lack of understanding etc

it would seem that odx cannot yet supply dam with uk tests - as this morning rns said "expect" - though as usual does not exactly clarify anything.
