how are you justifying a 200% rise in SP ? odx now say they need cash?....even if they get the vote yes....that has to be in question now as no one in their right mind will take up open offer. i don't know if the placing will go ahead if the bucket shops are going to be at an immediate loss

they have sold some more food intolerance tests than the previous year with more or less no sales - not sure that is a sign of any growth just a recovery of where they were.

i think they expected more pi would want to average down or keep current percentage by subscribing for open offer. to the bod it was just icing. the £5m is the real prize

with no jam the open offer was a smokescreen as the price was always going to go to 5p anyway..just this way the bod can put their sticky hands on it. pi don't realise that they would actually be better buying in open market - as every share through open offer is more dilution..better to buy in open market and churn the spivs shares quicker

It was against the bod of odx interests for sure. The more dubious question is whether their interests are aligned with share holders. Gauging by the reaction yesterday not very likely

the price had already dropped to 10p/11p from memory when jag was appointed without any introduction to the market...before the scoop of FACT that odx were in discussions. they could only get 5p because they had to offer a huge discount of 50%. they were never going to get 15p - it would have needed a share price of 25-30p

the leak was via a journalist on his web site - whether people like it /him or not that is his job title. of course twitter then picked it up once in public domain.
the leak did not change anything other than show the board up as being deceitful. something that was worth finding out.
at least there is now know confusion- yes they are incompetent as hell but now we know 100% they are deceitful.

of course odx will now blame everybody else on another failure. in reality they made a pig ears out of it by saying they did not need to raise when they could / should have just kept quiet. nobody made them say they did "not need it" but to then say it and then within 48 hours start looking for one was crazy...incompetent and again dis respectful to shareholders.

The scoop was on Friday...for three days it could have been considered a rumour although it was in fact true .. It was confirmed as true officially in an rns on Monday. At that point it ceased to be a rumour. It was a fact. Since marik joined on the Monday after the rns..there was at no point in his postings that it was still a rumour. It was a fact.end of really.

i think generally that BODs do not care about the SP (and investors cash) until it directly affects them - whether it be bonuses or needing cash etc.
there are lifestyle companies that the directors regular release rns to help pump the sp on a regular basis so that they can sell/place but i suspect good companies just get on with day to day business.

April will show what progress DA has made in terms of increasing existing sales and hopefully his blue print for the future. i would rather he sat on cash than felt he "had to do" something and frittered it away. the one thing covid did was give ncyt a better known reputation , a war chest and paid off debt.

they were on the ball and quickly took advantage of the pandemic. they just need to be as shrewd on what the next opportunities will be

totally agree on stubbornness. i guess it comes because you really need to have conviction to buy in the first place.

as it turns against you it is easy to make excuses and think it will all turn around - when in reality admitting defeat and getting out will ultimately be less painful.
the more a share drops the more the fear that if you sell out that it will bounce.

i think it is important that all views exist on these boards. it is up to the individual to read and contemplate on. the shares i have lost the most on - all had people warning. however in each case i trusted what the companies were saying and had faith in their ability to deliver.

just market correction. shares were hit in the fear leading up to invasion and the start. but what difference will it make in the west in the immediate future?. sure russia will get emboldened in the long term but they knew after afghanistan that the us were not going to get involved. without us no other western nation will get involved without us support. market will go back and those who timed it right will profit on those who sold in fear. money transferred.

as for true value..the market is no different from anything else. why is one painting worth millions times more than another. purely because someone will pay for it - just like sentiment in shares.

ncyt is currently untouchable for many due to covid test market collapsing. the herd probably is not even aware of the aggressive purchase by bio. the buyers aren't there.
however ncyt have a nice war chest , possible dispute concluding with an injection of cash. their next few moves will dictate the future prospects. the fact bio is sniffing around shows that there is huge potential.

We were told more will be revealed in april. now is the time for accumulating your hold. the right moves by either NCYT or bio could be a game changer

i suspect he knew exactly what he was doing - well hope in a way as otherwise he was really not very bright and uber stubborn. he did offer to explain the "complicated" stuff to a few of us - that was nice

however lets be honest it wasnt the gov or other posters on here that did the damage. it was ODX themselves. unable to sell a test in a pandemic or the last ice cold beer in the desert to an alcoholic
