well i am sure that many ukrainians are quite nationalistic - so they will not necessarily consider themselves russian. they may not even speak the language? . however I suspect the issue is more do they want to be controlled by russia or live more like westerners/

why would ncyt want to buy back shares at this point in time? if it were close to LTIP I would say yep possibility to pump SP. at this point in time the bod don't care what SP is. i doubt they really care too much about SH
why use up cash they might need later.

they should bee looking around for other distressed companies to be looking to pounce.
bio must be close to buying more with current mcap compared to cash.

jaf - the danger with odx is that interest has just gone. they have poor communication and news updates.

Whilst i agree the peace talks from russia could be about "looking good" i suppose it also gives them a bit of time time to evaluate how things are going. the logistics clearly have had issues as well as the strength of ukrainian resistance.

i think the real war is the global financial v russia oil /gas supply one.

how crippling is it for russia v what they can threaten.

clever - you might be right there. not long to go if that is the case.
locks ukraine from sea..good strategic position for russia. that with the areas under dispute - could be a nice gain for putin...enough for now.

putin will have to save face. if he can get the bits of ukraine he want he may just accept that to end it all. the resistance and sanctions are probably more than he expected. the further he goes the less chance of winning imho

he saves face..ukraine get most of the country back...the west avoid a war

my thought is that the amount to combat daily cash burn is getting hid in the "other" section of the placing plans breakdown. along with securing their salaries of course

they still have huge cash burn compared to revenue - which shows no sign of transforming quickly.

i agree with oke a lesser amount raised to get them over the next few months would be better for anyone who still wants to punt. give them cash burn for a few months and if they havent transformed sales then game over...find another lifestyle company

pro - the placing can go head and odx get cash to spend as they see fit
con - considerable dilution with no guaranteed benefit other than bod salaries secured

vote no
pro - bod get a bloody nose and may have to re-evaluate their alignment with share holder interests. no dilution for SH
con - bod don't have money and will probably struggle to keep company going unless they dramatically increase sales

antibody testing is interesting.
I personally think the gov will concentrate on getting as many jabs into arms rather than the expense of finding out whether they are actually needed.

i think on a personal level people will start to be more interested in knowing antibody status rather than endless jabs - especially with doubts of protection actually offered (boosters did not seem to be great in regards to omicron) and possible side effects increasing.

I think a good cheap test sold in shops might be an interesting spin off

it is a good point. they gave covid test priority and market effects as an excuse for the lack of progress, they can't use this excuse now - so will be under the microscope to see what they are actually doing day to day

good buy at 4.6p - good luck with that. hard to see current mcap justified with no real income.

chris - maybe when they applied for shares the sp was still above 5p? so they thought it would be a discount to sp next week?

i did warn that the sp would drop to placing price and lower.

i suppose they may think that by buying off the company itself it enriches the coffers - however every share they buy dilutes everyone's holding
