the FCA will do nothing.
ODX will blame everyone else - gov / approvals / scoop on placing. some valid points but ODX do not ever seem interested in taking responsibility for their poor strategies and performance.

they had a covid test in a pandemic - and should have got eu approval much earlier etc.

In the beginning the cost was such a major issue - that came with time and competition.

the question is what have they learnt in the last few years that will transform the business going forward?

twatcher - if whoever is buying the shares in the placing can - they will drop out. just depends on the small print. i suspect knowing odx ability to draft a contract there won't be a problem for the spivs to drop it like a hot potato.

the bod will probably wait for a no vote - so they can blame the whole fiasco on shareholders. nothing to do with them at all..always somebody else

he has probably been on a gold command call with head honchos in top secret meetings and missed all the excitement.

he is still happy with his investment though - all going to plan

the crazy thing is that the directors must have had doubts over the whole gov contract and colin's ability to sell a test in a pandemic - hence their selling before it kicked in . so why on earth did they not do a placing when it was a £1. they could have got the funds to invest in the company or pay for applications etc earlier.

even on the way down at 50p etc.

it seems their focus was always on the trough

well considering one can buy cheaper in the open market - it is an amazing subscription!

tbh buying odx at the moment is questionable but at a premium?????????????????

Don't know the company but the Macao was over £150m with £4.6m profit in h1?
A dhsc contract for £19m? ...ummm..these days does not seem to mean anything .will it be used ..even if it is used will they get the money?

I do echo your sentiments on the stock market...I was saying to a friend oy yesterday sometimes I wonder why I don't just sign over my paycheck and cut all the aggro and middleman..

It has been very tough losing life changing amounts and also hearing about others in the same boat.

There no longer seems to be a balanced risk v reward anymore ..you get a blinding rns which causes a brief spike at 20% and then end the day level or losing...yet any vague news item on the other side of the world seems to destroy the sp in buckets.

having been on here as an active poster for 8 years or something it was unfair that somebody could lie and accuse me of something not true . Yes I was upset losing my account as I have been a regular contributor and am more than happy for anybody to look through my posting and judge my character. if someone disagrees with me then I am more than happy to discuss the issue there is no need to make up stuff to get me removed.

i doubt anything will happen to chastise odx. It is AIM - nobody really cares.
I doubt day trading will be viable as i suspect liquidity will dry up on no news - and therefore SP will just die a death by a thousand cuts.
hard to see what news they can issue to pump. the glamour of covid tests is finished. by their own admission they can't see increase in non covid portfolio for a couple of years.

if they have anything in reserve to pump SP it will be used this week to get placing over the line

harchris - would they not have had to inform NCYT? they seem to do 4 days afterwards...which means if they did top up on thursday then something would come today.
personally can't see it.

Harchris - thursday last week was the biggest trading volume but it still was not particularly large . about 200,000 more shares traded than the other days.
if they did buy these then I would expect to hear today.

personally i doubt it. NCYT are not going anywhere and unfortunately with the irrationality of the market who knows what will happen to the SP. Why buy now if you can get a bit of a discount later in the week?
of course if the dialogue between russia and ukraine is positive could be a sharp u turn. just depends what Russia's endgame is?

it seems bio might have temporarily put a hold on their acquiring NCYT shares - probably due to ukraine?

4% is no good for them so they will no doubt buy more when things start stabilising. i suppose it is also preudent to see how markets will react to the ongoing situation - as prices could go lower generally.

I am not expecting much on the NCYT communication front until April. i still think they although they may have suspicions on what bio is up to - we won't hear anything from them until bio formally notifies them of their intention.

I still think bio will not show their cards until they have sufficient stake in bio - 20% or so seems their modus operandi .

so it is just sit and wait....
