I guess i am torn in the middle - as agree with both WB and Harchris.

there is so much potential - but do i trust the current bod with new additions to be able to unlock it? not on past performance.

unfortunately with AIM the main assets or liabilities seem to be management.

Mumbles - the way i see it is that the new guy has come in and found somethings that really needed sorting out.

The market has destroyed SP because it believes that a placing is coming...

of course people have smelt blood and started shorting.

if a finance deal - with super interest rates was achieved the SP goes up again. if they sell a chunk to a big player - it goes up again

lets say for argument sake it needs another $200m. there is no way that they are going to get it from current SP...they would have to issue 4 x as many shares as currently exist.

ok glencore and co could buy up quite a bit of new shares - but they have lost an enormous amount on their current holding

in my opinion there will either be a finance deal with super interest rates - ok gonna hit profits but once producing does it matter?

or they have to sell a chunk. they will no longer be 100% owners - but still have the other projects which could be funded by getting this mine working.

if they were to sell a chunk - i am sre there would be interest from chinese etc..of course glencore will have first dibs....and would probably go for it.

Glencore would prob be interested rather than it going to one of their competitors.

The company will sell off a percentage - prob to glencore

the mine will get built...i think HZM might have to sell off a chunk to fund but they will still be raking it in and able to fund subsequent projects.

After the good update - was thinking of getting back in. thankfully i didnt. i feel for any one holding at much higher averages.

however i can't see the project going under - too many big holders.

the drop in sp has probably killed a placing.

my view is that they will end up having to sell some of the mine to raise the cash needed...glencore would be an obvious choice of partner

Lack of liquidity would means it goes to NT..

If there is no one to buy them..the market makers will take some but will never over expose themselves.

There is a poster on here..who famously tried to sell at 55p and was not able to.

The share was a lot more liquid then...a much larger volume of shares traded everyday.

So she would have been able to later on...but maybe not at 55p ..it quickly went down.

The trouble now is that no one is interested in the share..as evidenced by total trades of a day often in single figures

Giz..I see the recent drop purely down to results being released. We knew what they were going to be ..and the SP was only going to be hit.so people got out beforehand and can buy back cheaper= more shares ..I suspect

I could easily see money returning and us Going back to 70p ish

Harder to gain and keep them..easy to drop.

Results as expected or worse get hammered..exceptional and you get modest gains

Personally I don't care if people are invested or not..I would rather hear what they have to say and digest or not.

It is clear LR comes with baggage. Prefer to know what it is and hopefully make a better informed decision.

Let's be honest you might possibly learn more from someone who's opinion you don't like compared to an ech chamber.

I agree that LR does not seem an ideal candidate ..

On holiday at moment - so only just caught up with yesterday's presentation.

did ncyt take over ygen? ...or did LR take over ncyt? (and their cash)?

LR..definitely has more personality and better presenting skills. compare with the word salad and fudging of ncyt. ncyt got off lightly because the focus on ygen meant they did not have to explain away WTF they have been doing or not doing for the reporting period.

the plus side - is that we now have what i have been criticising ncyt for (especially under salad man) - a much more identifiable product range and thus target market.

I believe LR will be looking to acquire more M&A for sure (look at ygen timeline)

the downside - he has a clear focus on himself and building the company...but does not give a xxxx about shareholders. if he didn't care about ygen shareholders he certainly wont give a fig about ncyt shareholders

tbh LR is a gamble..will he succeed or quickly burn through NCYT cash like he did with ygen?

however - i would rather take a chance on him at this stage than the current NCYT bod who will fritter through the cash without achieving anything.

We don't know when there will be an update on gove dispute...but if Odx have to pay back the money owed to the gov..and there is a good probability that will be the case..you could see a big hit to sp..so be careful out there

ncyt is not an "investment" at the moment...not until they get a forward plan that can bring substantial profit in

you can't blame traders - it is the company's fault that the SP does not seem to get any forward momentum
